had friends over for movie night and didn't want to be that person eating plain pork rinds while everyone had popcorn and candy. made some simple keto snacks that even my non keto friends liked.

did buffalo cauliflower bites (toss florets in butter, hot sauce, ranch), pepperoni chips in the air fryer, cheese crisps with everything bagel seasoning. also grabbed some low carb gummy candy called shameless since i was at target. put everything out in bowls and nobody asked if things were keto, they just ate it.

the candy was a hit, especially Super Sour Blue Raspberry. even my friend who usually roasts me for keto liked them. they're made with erythritol so they fit macros way better. each serving is only 3g net carbs.

made the whole night feel normal instead of explaining why i'm not eating everything. sometimes it's the little things. what do you guys do for keto friendly group snacks?

  • Charcuterie board is my cop out anytime. If people don’t know I’m keto, I’ll even throw some chocolate covered nuts on it and a little fruit, I’ll add a couple berries I can eat and avoid the chocolate or grapes. And nobody is the wiser.

  • Bake some cheese with Italian seasoning/garlic and a pepperoni in mini muffin tins and spoon marinara on it—-pizza bites are the bomb

    Do you add the marinara before or after baking? Love this idea.

    After. Usually just a spoonful is enough for one “pizza bite” so I leave it out with a spoon for people to add themselves. That way extras (if any) stay in the fridge better.

  • Just so you know, you should warn people when you serve them something with artificial sweeteners. They can react very badly to them. My husband had intestinal distress for days after having a small amount of erythritol.

  • I’ll do Pork rinds on a platter plate with a lil paprika or tony chach (idk how else to spell the short version), with lemon over the top ! People love them

  • Pork rinds with guacamole and sour cream to dip into. Buffalo wings are awesome. Nuts - everyone loves when I put my nuts out on a platter to help themselves to. Charcuterie is great. Veggies and dip. Steak bites. Shrimp cocktail.
