I’ve seen some recipes online but I wanted to reach out to see your guys’ opinion on the closest one to cambells. Also side note if you have any noodle like substitutions that would be great. (Not zoodles)

I just discovered hearts of palm noodles. Boiled 5 minutes, they are pretty good. Use them with fast parmesan (1/4 cup heavy cream, handful of Parm, jarlic and S/p to taste, toss in the cooked noodles, thin with olive oil to consistency you want. Splash of lemon juice when done.
I use Palmini. They also have mashed, which I am eating right now after adding a little chopped bacon + bacon grease, roasted garlic, and a little truffle olive oil. Definitely nuke them a few minutes before adding anything in. A nice change to cauliflower.
If you Google, you will find multiple recipes for keto tomato soup. The best ones I've tried use cream cheese instead of heavy cream. Check out several, because they all use variations of added garlic, onion and basil.
Two tricks that matter the most:
Use canned quality roma tomatoes instead of roasting your own.
Get yourself a bottle of L'Epicerie Tomato Extract. It is worth the price! You can easily cut the amount of tomatoes in half. There are lower quality versions on Amazon but they can do the trick as well. Warning - these are alcohol-based extracts, I will often boil with chicken stock first.
Tomatoes vary in sugar content. The best tasting usually have more sugar. But honestly, the biggest reason is I used canned for convenience, spur of moment cooking (always have cans on hand, I cook for family but I am the only one in keto), and consistency of flavor and cooking profile.
All of this reminded me of another hack I used when I first started on keto. This is really fast and easy. I got Italian tomato puree (at our Central Market -by HEB - house brand, but any good quality would do) which has 4g carbs 1g fiber per quarter cup. Using my cooked/roasted zucchini hack - I would add a quarter cup tomato puree, big spoonful of cooked zucchini, a handful of basil, a quarter cup chicken stock, s/p to taste, then maybe a one or two oz cream cheese and a tablespoon of olive oil. Blend in my vitamix on high until hot (about 5 minutes). It certainly scratches the tomato soup itch, even if not as rich. Throw in some Parm cheese crackers broken up just before serving.
At the risk of sounding needy, do you have a recommendation for those quality canned tomatoes or know if there is a clear distinction for quality (brands, price, etc)?
Would you mind posting the recipe you use by chance?
You could even create a post and get ALL the credit for it! lol
1 cup fresh Napoles (cactus) microwaved to cooked (live in Texas, get them from HEB. Feel free to sub cooked zucchini no skins)
16 oz chicken stock or to desired consistency.
Spice blend (black pepper, summer savory, seeds of paradise ground).
1 teaspoon Tomato extract (or to taste).
Salt to taste.
I blend until smooth, heat in microwave or stovetop. I calculated this out to about 15g net carbs once for 6 servings, but some variation and I could be off. I am allergic to peppers, so use napoles a lot. Seeds of paradise also give it the hot kick I can't usually get any other way.
Easy Keto Tomato Bacon Cheddar Soup by FitToServe. My family loves it and they aren't even keto. It's one of the recipes my family made me add to the regular meals list.
Also look up keto egg noodles, it's an egg fast thing I believe, but they are pretty dang good!
Egg White Miracle Noodles are pretty good. They are more delicate / softer compared to the shirataki noodles, which I also like. There are also kelp noodles (I got them at Whole Foods), which remind me of glass noodles.

Shirataki noodles hit that noodle fix for me. Theyre not too expensive and available on amazon. Give them a try!
I second this! And I sometimes get the ones that are also made with tofu and shirataki. The tofu makes them less rubbery and more pasta like.

I just looked these up and looks like there is a ton of brands, any that you suggest?

Do you suggest using canned because it’s not tomato season or is there some other reason?

Cento San Marzano. My blender recipe is
1 block cream cheese
1 cup flax milk.
1/2 can (about 7 oz) of Cento canned tomatos.
1 cup fresh Basil

16 oz chicken stock or to desired consistency.

You are a gentleman and a scholar.
A rose among thorns.
You're the best!
Agree that high quality Romas are worth the price. If you are a Costco member try the Kirkland brand

Very close to real spaghetti. It takes time, effort, and tools, but totally worth it.
