I was wondering if you could share how you receive payments as a foreign freelancer in Japan (for example, as a life coach, online teacher, or similar), especially from international clients (e.g., bank transfer, Revolut, PayPal). I currently only have a Japan Post Bank account, and it doesn’t seem very practical for this.

Wise, stripe, PayPal. All work very nice here. But PayPal will freeze your account once your visa is up for renewal. They don't recognize that stamp on the back, and will only unfreeze once you get the new card.
