I currently need a Windows laptop with some slightly heavy specs to work on some projects and I've been searching for some affordable options in Mercari but I am unable to buy there because the identity verification doesn't work with my name for some reason (you would've thought a company that hires foreign engineers would have made this process smoother for foreigners).

Since I need it relatively soon I think may need to go to a physical store and try to buy something there but I am unsure if this will help much or should I just try other online markets like Yahoo auctions instead?
