Thanks everyone for your recent advice on paying off debt :) my loans are gone and still have a nice cushion! Feels strange but liberating! Single mam in my 30s.
Same! After this sub I made it my goal for 2025 to have no debt except mortgage. Paid off loan and credit cards (and now only have one). Now have an emergency fund AND savings, I can’t believe it. Thanks everyone!!!
No treats, no clothes, no days out, budget budget budget, overtime in work. Built savings so I could still have a cushion then paid in full. Took ages to save and was painful to see the savings drop suddenly but thankfully that can built again!
