Ni isn’t how we take in information. It’s how we synthesize information.
There’s a limit to how many points of view are out there, and once you have the general pattern down, you can usually have a good understanding without having to seek them out.
Your J preference is only going to impede on that if it you somehow never discover that there are missing pieces in the pattern.
A lot of that just comes from life experience, so that’s why your Te is so vital. Te is the primary way we get information from the outside, by testing theories and bouncing ideas off people who may be able to fill in the blanks.
Ni is always 'running' in the background, so no Te does not interfere with it. Everything you perceive using Se, is processed by Ni to find relevant possibilities, patterns, meanings etc.
Perception is the process of becoming aware of information. Introverted functions are criteria which stem from the thought process of the individual. So hence Ni is the process of becoming aware of these intangible possibilities, stemming from thoughts of your own, it is not dependant on external input in an immediate sense, because exploring many POVs as you say, is fundamentally a form of extraverted perception - in that they come from the environment. Conflicting possibilities coming from external sources and from your own mind will inherently see friction if you do not prioritise one over the other.
Ni and Si allow people to analyse a situation using external parametres and conditions (Te), to judge where something will lead. The perceptions that they are made aware of either stem from personal lived experience (Si), or from possibilities derived from a more general understanding of cause and effect (Ni).
Doubling up on extraverted perception and judgement would technically be an ever expanding exploration of external objects, with nothing to consolidate things down to a decision. Likewise doubling up on introversion will lead to extreme narrow minded subjective judgements that have no external application.
then force yourself not to
