I asked this on the ENTJ subreddit figured I'd ask our introverted siblings too. What hobbies/interests do you guys have? Or what do you enjoy doing for fun (that isn't work related).
Same! This is why I love One Piece and consider it the peak of all fiction ever. There is so much lore and so many layers to the story and world...its just the greatest.
Seriously, read webnovels. I've read two of them, I considered aot the best story on earth, and I was WRONG. I've read orv and RI and they became my favourite back to back. One piece is truly interesting, and I truly enjoyed it, but lotm, RI and orv are just better. Go look on the net for comparison. Especially lotm that has DEEEEEP lore, and RI that has gu which are devil fruits but just WAAAAAAY better. Those mc are better written than luffy too. The only reason they're not known enough is because they're webnovels and not manga, but if they were.... Don't even get me started buddy. Also lotm is extremely complex and detailed, truly detailed, it's set in the victorian era with mysticism and supernatural. Those are just exceptional. One piece may be the peak of anime, but if those stories were anime too, they would've been the best. Trust me, you'll discover new peaks. And it's the best time to start rn.
When it comes to deep lore, I love Marvel Comics, the Cthulhu Mythos, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Stephen King's books, the Harry Potter series (both the books and films), and Avatar: The Last Airbender (ATLA).
Oh, and when it comes to plot twists, I'd recommend checking out The Housemaid (2026) if you haven't seen it already. I went into the theater not expecting much but I ended up heavily invested by the third act. It really keeps you guessing.
I mostly look for stories with ancient secrets like a webnovel called Lord Of The Mysteries . It has everything including gigantic plot twists, complex history and a truly deep lore. So if you have thise type of stories, feel free to share.
I love writing, I could spend my life doing that. I especially love the part where I have to invent a lore for my characters, because depending of their sanity, I can learn more about psychology, which is something I also appreciate a lot. I also make music but less often: I play the piano and the electric guitar. I generally have less time or will to do that when I’m bored. And yeah, I also draw, but not as much as I did a few years ago.
EXACTLY!!! I often seek on the internet random questions, and I answer as my characters would 😭 Or, I ask someone to tell me a random situation, so I can write what they’d do.
I personally play games for fun. and I enjoy reading what others say on discord and other platforms then judge it internally on metrics I make up in my head
I enjoy reading, hiding in my bedroom with my hue lights on watching shows, and I’m a wordl genius. I also like to color/paint but I don’t get the kind of time I need for a hobby like that, so it’s more limited. Love taking photographs- nothing professional just pictures of my family and capturing the little moments.
My favorite hobby though… napping 😏 I could be a nap queen.
I love playing DnD (preferably being a DM), world building (mainly for D&D), robotics, playing drums and watching + analysing cinema. I also play video games, but I prefer other mediums more. Favourite games would be RPGs and Roguelikes.
🎳 Casual group activities like going bowling, mini-golfing, or playing pool;
🧙♂️ Meeting up to play Dungeons & Dragons with friends;
🃏 Playing Cards Against Humanity with people (dark humor stuff);
💃 Ballroom dancing, Latin dancing, and belly dancing;
👴 Visiting my elderly parents in my hometown (ESTP dad loves more company);
💬 Watching "Smosh reads Reddit stories" with my partner, discussing opinions;
🍣 Going out to eat sushi with my partner, and just bantering;
🏁 Watching Formula 1 live with other people.
Solo Stuff:
⌨️ Game development (a more "impersonal" and systemic form of creativity!);
🌳 Taking walks in the forest near my home, or in the city center;
📖 Currently reading some of Carl Jung's work;
🚴 Exercising, biking, Ringfit, and cross-training;
🌐 Reddit, of course;
📊 Mapping personality systems onto the NEO-PI (R) to understand their relationships and validate constructs.
Disliked Things:
🤳 Influencers, Insta selfies, trend posts, Tik-Tok, and YouTube Shorts;
💎 Diamond painting, ship-in-a-bottle construction, lacemaking, nail art-- I'm normally patient but time-consuming, hands-on reaaally finicky hobbies drive me crazy;
👹 Games like LoL, WoW battlegrounds, etc. (Toxic environments in what should be a leisure time game);
✨ Anime/Manga (ruined for me by fanservice paired with weird neoteny, "loli" characters, oversaturation of a cheap & quick artstyle, and proxy -- special snowflakes online, anime fans who RP or talk about fictional anime characters lots in online spaces geared towards real life, people with Chunbiyo syndrome, and horny exes who were into all that).
Learning for my job (it really is a hobby since I can do something useful)
Whatever I do, it has to be something meaningful and I have to have the feeling of being productive. Even when I play games, it has to challenge my brain - either some kind of strategy, riddles and stuff. Whenever I go for a walk, I stay for hours outside and analyze my feelings, thoughts, live objectives and so on, depending on the current situation.
I rarely do something just for fun in order to relax.
I’ve always been a huge reader. Always loved indulging in stories of any media, particularly animanga. I love watching how the plot, characters, worldbuilding, etc, take affect snd change the story.
And of course, I love writing as well. I’ve always wanted to write my own book one day, but I always feel as if I should read more books.
I also love researching into mythology and psychology as well, especially because of how it ties in to many stories, and alongside history in general.
I also enjoy cooking/baking from time to time. If I find a new recipe that seems interesting, I’ll make it if I have time. I don’t enjoy eating because I have to, I only enjoy cooking/baking when it’s a choice 😅
Also, not a huge artist but it is something I want to get into.
Mostly solo activities- exploring parks and beaches, kayaking, paddle boarding, thrifting, reading, journaling, occasional painting, watching documentaries, and I'm a gym rat.
Reading, writing, sleeping and reading. In fact, I spend my free time reading any book I can get my hands on. My eyesight has deteriorated because of this hobby of mine.
I don’t partake in many hobbies much anymore, because I have two young children.
Howeverrrr
I was ALWAYS down for Karaoke; I loved to sing.
Puzzles— crypto-quotes, Sudoku (LOVE), jigsaw, logic puzzles, etc.
Research—- mostly animal care/nutrition, pathology, psychology, human nutrition and whatever I’m curious about at the time
Reading opinions and comments on social media—- 😅 I am curious how people respond and what they think about things. Also, some people are very funny!
I love to draw and paint, but I need to be inspired!
I love to banter with people! If I go to a party or a group or whatnot, it really makes my day to have fun conversation. I worked very hard on my social skills over the years and it pleases me greatly to be able to showcase this!
I used to looooove video games (like kingdom hearts, super smash bros, animal crossing, SIMs, etc).
I love a good story— movies, shows, books…I get hooked easily and suffer with a bit of depersonalization if I become immersed in the story (especially when reading).
I also love FOOD! I like to experiment with flavors and create! I make new entrées and desserts for fun. I hate the cleanup, though.
Diving into history, doing extensive research, and making sense of the stories for myself.
Watching great TV shows and movies. Some popcorn-style films make me feel a bit empty afterward, but truly great ones leave a lasting impact.
For everyday hobbies, I enjoy sports training like badminton when I have the budget for it, and learning musical instruments if I can afford the lessons.
Depends on my mood… playing my instruments, reading my novels, playing PC games, art, swimming, martial arts, yoga, journaling, walking in a park, and the list goes on 🤭~
I CRAVE stories with deep lore and gigantic plot twists,or just unpredictable plot twists
Same! This is why I love One Piece and consider it the peak of all fiction ever. There is so much lore and so many layers to the story and world...its just the greatest.
It's not the peak of fiction. Lotm has better lore and plot twists.
You’re entitled to your incorrect opinion!😂.
I kid, I kid. Are you caught up with One Piece or even into to it?

I would recommend the Witcher to you

Omg the writing because you love character psychology literally me
Sometimes I see myself as a lab psychologist with them lol
Not me running scenarios with all my characters like "who's the messiest" and "who's most likely to cry when they're tired" haha
EXACTLY!!! I often seek on the internet random questions, and I answer as my characters would 😭 Or, I ask someone to tell me a random situation, so I can write what they’d do.
I like reading, writing, sketching, bodybuilding.
• Taking care of my health (sport/great nutrition).
• Pokémon (both official and fangames).
• Video games.
• Discovering new bands (mostly folk/pagan, atmospheric black metal, but i also enjoy melodeath and thrash).
• Reading non-fiction, fantasy and sci-fi.
• Watching streamers that i appreciate.
• Going to theme parks as i love roller coasters (addicted to thrills).
• Traveling to small villages and visiting everywhere there.
• Walking in forests/mountains.

damn ... how is it that all your interests overlap with mine. :s
You sound like my favourite kind of person apart from roleplay games (people-y). Love the opening and final lines best.
Birding.
