As a Nigerian, British, American woman myself.. this viral story and the opinions of everyone on the internet has been quite interesting to see however I really don't believe this woman was scammed.. her friends and family were BUT her.. I feel she knew and saw the red flags and was blinded by what she perceived to be love. Obviously so many don't think she deserves empathy but this was her first real relationships and I think we all can look back at certain relationships and see how dumb we were in them.
SO is the Danish Deception a real scam, a social media stunt or pure delusional desperation?
In my video on Youtube, I discuss the viral Danish Deception story with my receipts from my own experience (Nigerian woman with a white man), motivations, contradictions and internet reactions. However whether you’ve seen it all over TikTok or you’re just catching up, this is just my perspective.
I Cover:
• What most likely actually happened in the Danish Deception
• Why the story went viral and what she possibly thought would come from it
• Red flags people ignored (men and women)
• My thoughts on is this was a calculated plan… or just pure delusion
