I used to go everywhere on rollerblades. Nowadays I’m just a few months shy of 40, and I’d like to start skating again a couple days a week.
Something more urban, maybe downtown, some laps in the parks. What models would you recommend? I don’t want anything super expensive. Thanks.

is your foot more wide or narrow?
For getting back into it I would recommend a boot with a removable liner. I used to skate a ton back in the day as well. When I came back to it I wanted to get a "nicer" pair of skates and ended up getting a pair of FR Skates with an integrated liner. That first pair ended up hurting my feet, so I tried some others, fast forward a few years...I have a pair of fancy FR Skates that are nice, and only start to hurt my feet after a couple hours, however I felt like something was missing.
Also, about a year ago I saw some clips of Danny Aldridge (https://www.instagram.com/p/DRwPHl6jk10/) who is a beast, and almost exclusively skates on Rollerblade RB80s, which are a "lower" tier skate but known for having more room in the toe-box. You can find this skate on sale for like $120.
I bought a pair of RB80s on a whim and now they are my primary skate like 95% of the time. Lightweight, durable. If you want a nice upgrade for them get a pair of Rollerblade Nomad Liners or Intuition Liners. They will feel even better.
The rollerblade Lightning is also an amazing skate. Super comfortable. It's kind of the next step up in quality from the RB80.
