Not to mention that below 350cc bikes get lower GST (we could get it for 6L OTR if they decide to price it right)
Rest assured, we won't get it. And even if we do get it by some miracle, it's gonna be priced too close to the ZX-4R and ppl would still buy Z900s instead of this, and they'd pull the plug on this model.
Bhai what will you do with sound? Give pleasure to yourself and drive what you like. Don't fixate on pleasures which aren't possible just find something else since life is short to ponder over such low esteem goals.
Hahahahahaha. Yeah! Have you seen the zx4r sales? You think this one will sell ? I can guarantee you even you won't buy it for the price it would be at.
Yeah the 4R(more for the 4RR) is priced too close to the 6R and at that point the value oriented Indian would rather get the 6R. If GST 2.0 was till 400cc that might've helped.
As it should, but Kawasaki can't price it any lower. Iirc, it costs almost as much to make a small i4 as s big i4 engine. 4R has always been a niche product, just for kawasaki to say we could. Just as 25R is a niche product, mainly targeted for some markets like Indonesia
4r has a better relaxed posture & 2000 more RPM than the 6r. Albeit, still a niche, in my opinion a 400cc is the most power you need, & can utilise, on Indian roads. The 6r goes to 130kph in the 1st gear itself.... so
Good enough for indian roads but the price is uninged, noone is going to spend their hard earned money for a loud bike which gathers unnecessary attention of uniformed goons.
Aye agreed, personally I dislike kawasaki’s design, I feel they are like “Hyundai” sharp and aggressive and loud design which looks old and outdates in couple of years
And zx6r looks too thin/nude to me so I skipped it.
Yeah, it’s gonna cost 3.5-4L and nobody in India would spend that much for. 250 CC bike. I was considering MT15 and later bought a Triumph T4. My thoughts were like why should I pay 2.2L for a 150 CC bike? I can add some 30-35K extra and get a much better bike
Probably you don’t care about technical analysis. It doesn’t matter who you are, and most of the Indians look for value for money and just for one or two odd people like you, they ain’t gonna launch these. Why don’t you buy some better bikes if you can pay 4L for this?
I am not waiting, just talking about a theoretical
And if I had the resources/funds i would go for a 4rr over any bike anyday, india doesn't really need anything more than 60hp (in my opinion) and that screamer engine is worth it for the sound alone
Yeah bro, I have been a fan of zx25r from day one of its release. I tried getting a job in south east countries so I could have one, but failed miserably. Currently, I ride fZV3 and would upgrade if it's launched in India.
Well it is not worth it. Zx25r, unlike the zx4r makes comparatively much less power ( lower displacement) but weighs similar to zx4r. This offsets it's main purpose. What kawasaki should have done was to give it an aluminium frame with all the high end race parts to further reduce weight. But that increases the cost even further. They have done this before with their race homologated 250cc race bikes in early 90s. I mean the Zxr250.
It's crazy that that bike with "400cc" is still considered too fast for our roads
This is why I think the 25r makes so much sense,
Thanks a lot for your insights!
I saw this in some reels from Indonesia. This would be the perfect bike for india, well, atleast according to me! Has just enough power, not too much and sounds ethereal! But knowing the Japanese attitude towards India, this won't be possible, sadly.
I think the same! 40 bhp is more than enough for Indian roads but most 40 hp bikes are either singles or 180/270 degree twins which won't sound as nice as an inline 4, which is why this bike would have been special! Benelli's bikes like the 302R were an exception since they used 360 degree twins which sounded as close to an inline 4 as one can get. Sadly, even they aren't doing great in India after discontinuing all those great models and selling overpriced crap like the Japanese brands.
Exactly!
Indian roads don't need anything above 60hp for enthusiasts
Anything above is for a track use that the poor bike (normally) won't see
Meanwhile the ZX25R is like a mazda miata,
Built for the joy of riding, it sounds like what a zx6r would at 120 at 50 and that's why I am obsessed with that bike
No one will buy it , look at what happened to zx4r , a high reving 400 cc inline 4 with 80ish horsepower, but nobody bought it India apart for a few , everyone said its a very pricey 400 cc they forgot that it has 4 cylinders and make as much power as 650 so considering its power it was appropriately priced, the same thing will happen with zx25r , nobody os gomma buy a 6 lkh "250 cc"

The zx4r itself is 10.5L on road. The zx25r is cheaper than the 4r and also will fall under sub 350 bracket which will have lower taxes as well. It will definitely fall in the kawasaki 650 price bracket or probably even lower.
I know but the sound is worth every single penny
Bhai what will you do with sound? Give pleasure to yourself and drive what you like. Don't fixate on pleasures which aren't possible just find something else since life is short to ponder over such low esteem goals.
Cheee man, wtf.
Too cool of a bike, the Japanese would rather spit on you than release it here
Mate 😂😂😂
Thanks for the laugh.
What if he likes getting spit on?
😂
They would rather commit sepuko than sell it in gadkari land. 🫠
Its not just value oriented indian. 6r is beating the 4r sales everywhere
As it should, but Kawasaki can't price it any lower. Iirc, it costs almost as much to make a small i4 as s big i4 engine. 4R has always been a niche product, just for kawasaki to say we could. Just as 25R is a niche product, mainly targeted for some markets like Indonesia
Yup. It does. In fact it would cost just as much as a zx4r is not for opting in on some cheaper components like the suspension.
There will be a day I'll get the 4rr, that bike is worth it for the sound alone mannn
I hope you do.
Thanks a lot browski❤️
it's browasaki for you bhai
😂
Why will you not get the 6r instead?
4r has a better relaxed posture & 2000 more RPM than the 6r. Albeit, still a niche, in my opinion a 400cc is the most power you need, & can utilise, on Indian roads. The 6r goes to 130kph in the 1st gear itself.... so
Exactly! And the sound of that i4 🤌
I bought one, it's great if you really want a small bore 4 But it's kind of like a 2 stroke... You will feel the power only past 9000 RPM
If you're used to riding most bikes in the 400 cc class, it will feel much less torquey
My bike has 2x the power of an RC 390 but just about the same torque.
The ZX25r will feel much the same, R15 levels of torque but 400cc class power.
It's not for everyone
At the price it comes, no one is going to buy it when they can buy a Z900. It makes no sense whatsoever in business terms for Kawasaki
genuine question.... why is it priced so high for a 250cc bike?
inline 4 and Kawasaki badge.
I guess its 2 cylinder 🙄 can you confirm?
???what
You mentioned inline 4 but I guess its just inline 2
Nope, the selling point of the 250 is the high revving i4.
Sounds like a supercar but goes within speed limit lol
“High revving” 🥲 17K rpm is good for screaming but 50bhp is weak everywhere.
So at the dawn its just a sound box 🥹
Good enough for indian roads but the price is uninged, noone is going to spend their hard earned money for a loud bike which gathers unnecessary attention of uniformed goons.
“Uniformed Goons” never heard a better nickname 😇
Aye agreed, personally I dislike kawasaki’s design, I feel they are like “Hyundai” sharp and aggressive and loud design which looks old and outdates in couple of years
And zx6r looks too thin/nude to me so I skipped it.
Ignore my bad I was checking another model 😥
Bete phir 8k ki service bhi hogi.. phir mat bolna kawachudi loot rahi hai
Are bhai Road Rash legendary game man.
My childhood!
Same, it came out in 1992 I think well it older than me but I played it on my dad’s PC, it was soooo gooooood 😍.
I am a 07 born but the memories I've had playing this game in my dad's patato laptop will never leave my memory
Such a unique game
Road rash 1 was the GOAT
If you use steam, there's a new indie game coming out exactly like this! I've already wishlisted it!
😔😔😔
Sidenote: I couldn't help but see you own the klx, how was the experience so far if you don't mind sharing :) I love that beast
All good so far apart of service being expensive bike is great for city roads and offroad.
That's amazing to hear
No offence but you do know what it costs right?
Unfortunately I do
Honestly, I'd get the bike if it was available, for the sound alone
Majority don’t that’s why
sadly
if they produced them in India and sold it at even around 4-5L I think it would give the 457 a run for it's money
The cc count is irrational to the hp numbers and the experience bu I get your point
I'm a guju and I'll still get that 250 over any 400 at 4L
Probably you don’t care about technical analysis. It doesn’t matter who you are, and most of the Indians look for value for money and just for one or two odd people like you, they ain’t gonna launch these. Why don’t you buy some better bikes if you can pay 4L for this?
Yeah fair enough I look for an overall experience, compared to a specsheet special
You get better experience and better bikes at this price bro. Why would you wait for this?
I am not waiting, just talking about a theoretical And if I had the resources/funds i would go for a 4rr over any bike anyday, india doesn't really need anything more than 60hp (in my opinion) and that screamer engine is worth it for the sound alone
I would love to own this.
Hell yeah, you get it!
Yeah bro, I have been a fan of zx25r from day one of its release. I tried getting a job in south east countries so I could have one, but failed miserably. Currently, I ride fZV3 and would upgrade if it's launched in India.
Hell yeah dude
Kawachudi will never do that 🥲
I saw that reel too kawachudi ninja 🤣
Noone is going to buy it because of such a ridiculous price tag, who will willingly buy this if you can get much better bikes.
It's expensive Don't say other bikes are "better"
Nothing like it exists
Klx230 is a start I think they will follow it with w230 in 2026 Later they might bring a naked 230 or 300
Let's not keep our hopes up,
It's kawasaki we're talking about
(I am optimistic about the w230 tho)
You get a Ninja 300, now with bluetooth.
The same bike that has been produced since 2013?
Hell yeah /s
Yes, but you get the rejected models, shipped to India and brain-dead people one reddit gargle Kawasaki's balls and say CBU > anything.
Yep
Looks awesome.
Some dude in India did buy it, Im not sure if it was imported or what. Look up on YouTube.
Wait what actually? Lemme see
Illegal bike in West Bengal
You can't import low CC bikes to India for road use
Homologation naam ki cheez hoti hai
Nice one. Here's the 2026 w175.
The w175 guy will not take this lightly
Well it is not worth it. Zx25r, unlike the zx4r makes comparatively much less power ( lower displacement) but weighs similar to zx4r. This offsets it's main purpose. We need even smaller. 150?
2 cylinder high revving 150 will destroy everything
Yes!! Seventy five each.
There's no market for the bike in india tbh. Would everyone love to have it? Yes would everyone purchase it? Definitely not
That's the sad reality, Sounds like an orchestra on wheels tho
I'd buy it if it launched around 6-7 lakhs but that's never happening esp at that price
They will probably bring it as a CBU which makes it very expensive.
and what shud be the price?
Let's.......not talk about that 😭
No chance bhai unfortunately 😭.
😔😔
Sidenote: I absolutely love your bike collection!
Thanks bhai.
Hoping this is what the upcoming Yamaha R2 will be like🤞
Let's hope
Emission norms make it difficult for Japanese brands to launch new products in India.
😔😔
Yes very eager for them to launch this in India.
I hope they do 😭
Sidenote: you have a zx4r, legend!
Yes part of owning that is why I want the zx25r
I know, Good the 4r been so far? It's my absolute dream bike
The 4rr is amazing like it almost perfect bike for road minus the soft suspension and the fact that it is still a bit too fast for our roads
It's crazy that that bike with "400cc" is still considered too fast for our roads This is why I think the 25r makes so much sense, Thanks a lot for your insights!
Lol the 1st gear goes upto 96 so yes it is very fast for our roads.
No way anyone's getting this at 6-6.5L otr. You'd either upsize to a proper superbike like the Z900 or downsize to something like the RS457.
The only 250cc inline-four I can compare to the LFA is the Honda CBR250RR-MC22 which revs up to 20,000 rpm
You know ball However I'll add the CBX in that list too
(Don't rule out the 25r, it sounds like a symphony)
I saw this in some reels from Indonesia. This would be the perfect bike for india, well, atleast according to me! Has just enough power, not too much and sounds ethereal! But knowing the Japanese attitude towards India, this won't be possible, sadly.
I know right! The only thing that people would be concerned for will be the cc count, but honestly 40bhp is enough for Indian roads

If People have money they go for 1000cc. Unless your garage is full of different cc segments then you will buy this.

LFA on steroids??💔💔🥀🥀🥀 Bro could've said anything but decided to utter such combination of letters
Hear it,
Well In hindsight I should've called it the LFA of motorcycles
Mb
That would've been somewhat appropriate, but calling it an LFA on steriods is just... Yk
Yeah I get it
Oh yes we want this bike in India 💯 just to sit in the showroom
