• Only in Merica where people are insecure and afraid of going to the pharmacy without a gun because of all the guns. There's clearly only one solution but it'll never be done as long as repedocans make money from the nra.

  • Why are her pants on backwards

They’re not on backwards. That’s her ass. It’s just bad.

    Get it? Hehe

  • Honestly this is just a mildly awkward response to real comments people make

  • Where do they live that you need all that protection just to live a normal life

Wait till you discover what its like being a women in the city

    An American city, sure.

You think america is the only place women dont feel safe? Oh id love to live in ur world

America is one of the few places where people feel so unsafe they need to carry a gun.

    Need 🚫

    Can ✅️

Not every gun owner is some person scared to go to 7 Eleven. But also not every human being is in the right state of mind. I'd rather be safe than not

Which part of people who are not in the right state of mind having access to guns corresponds with you being safe?

Have you checked the data lately? Look at all that 'safety'..

You're literally disconnected from the reality of your situation.

    You. Are. Less. Safe.

Have you checked the data lately?

The same data that is inflated with intentional misinformation to give the illusion of "guns bad".

Did you know the "Mass Shooting" numbers also count for a gun simply going off near a group of people? So if Uncle Marcus is at a cookout and concealed carrying a Sig 320 (handgun notorious for goin off on its own because poor design) and it goes off and hits someone, that's counted as a mass shooting stat. Cuz a gun went off near a group of people.

Did you know if cousin Jed takes his bolt action rifle to school, cuz he's an 18yo senior and goin hunting after, and it remains in his truck, by itself, falls and goes off, that counts as a school shooting stat? Cuz a gun went off at a school.

Did you know the "deadly shooting" data counts for self defense, suicide and police shootings? So if Claire is depressed cuz of a break up and decides to see a live Kurt Cobain concert, that counts too.

This data your referencing is inflated intentionally. Maybe do a little more research.

Guns are bad and it's obvious why. Every other nation has either banned them or made it so hard to get one. No guns = no shootings, literally that simple.

Each gun you own, puts you and your family 200% more at risk of death or injury.

Didn't Australia and the UK and France just have mass shootings?

Believe the lie if you want.

Yeah but not one of the few places where women feel unsafe😭 america is just one of the only ones where you can actually protect yourself against this violence. Though i do think people should have mental evaluations before owning a gun

certain areas of literally any major city in america

  • That seems like a great way to shoot yourself in the thigh. Thankfully there are no major arteries in the thigh.

It's possible she has a pocket holster, bit at a glance, I doubt it.

My ex used to just shove his down the back of his pants....always made me so incredibly nervous.

  • "I barely know how to use it"
That's worse. We all agree that's worse, right?

i do think it’s meant to be a thing goading someone into trying them, under the pretense that they don’t know how to use it

So much fucking worse. If you own a firearm you should be proficient with said firearm.

  • Literally nobody has ever said that to them I can guarantee

They literally do, ive seen tons of comments. Women protecting themselves makes some men mad

Go on TikTok and check the videos of women with a protection dog. The comments section usually has a dozen of these comments, along with "Wouldn't stop me", and a variety of other vulgar, threatening lines.

Ah, I don’t use TikTok because I detest that app(I say as I scroll Reddit)

  • America 🤦‍♂️. What a bucket of paranoid dipshits it is 😔

I mean is it really paranoid? Shootings, human trafficking, rape, happens everyday

Wouldn’t need all these fucking guns if there weren’t so many guns.

  • This isn't really that cringe. Don't go around threatening random women and you won't find out. I think this is a very easy thing to do. Whatever psychopath threatened to shoot her dogs for what I'm assuming was a nothingburger should get aerated.

I haven’t read the comments yet but I’m imagining people are pointing at how cringe it is that you need to have a gun in the US to be safe

You think someone actually said that to her? I think she’s just trying to show off her dogs and that she owns a gun.

Bro ive seen so many comments like that shes not lying

Yes, I’ve seen lots of men comment something along the lines of “your dogs not bullet proof” under videos of women talking about “scary dog privilege”

Yes? Reddit has taught me there's plenty of weirdos in this world. You think everyone is rational and kind?

  • Why the fuck do those pockets look exactly like the back pockets

Kriss Kross made her do it.

Holy shit. Folks seriously check out the gimmick they had. I cant believe some one mentioned them hahha

That was my thought as well. Fuck your stupid posing, who the fuck thought it stylish to sew back pockets to the front???

"Girl pockets." Because girls can't have pockets unless they're not pockets.

Women's pants are only allowed to have so much pocket, lest they risk gravitational singularity

  • To be fair if somebody is threatening her dogs, she kinda has the right to attempt to seem badass like this

  • Nah, leave this one alone. I understand why she is doing what she is doing. Whenever a woman posts about feeling safe to walk alone at night because she has a guard dog, men come out of the woodwork with "your dog isnt bulletproof" type comments. Her video is valid.

Wow I didn’t think the bulletproof thing was … a thing! God, insecure men get defensive and offended by literally anything a woman says, it’s ridiculous

Minus the fact that that is an extremely irresponsible way to carry a firearm, yes.

I felt it fit the sub but you are right. We don’t need to hate on her for this.

  • Everytime I see someone with a gun I assume he or she's a big fucking pussy that is scared 24/7.

Or they are in the US and you need a gun to be safe

I am a big fucking pussy and I am terrified 24/7. I'm a trans person in the bible belt, I can't afford not to be scared

Well in that case I absolutely understand your fear tho. I'm talking about these alpha male guys mostly

the person in the video is a woman though

Oh so sometimes fear is valid? What a switch up from your original comment eh?

Only if you're someone he agrees with, duh.

Your fear is only justified if he determines that you are sufficiently oppressed by society.

I was mauled by a dog just three weeks ago on my walk home from work. I hadn't really been practicing my draw and my carry choice was too large for me to consistently walk home from work with it holstered and without breaking employee policy on weapons.

I'm not obligated to have stitches and go to the ER when a neighbor decides it's okay to keep a 5 year old shepherd cooped up in an apartment and let go of the leash at me saying "Don't worry, he's friendly!" as he clamps on my arm before I could draw.

I'm not scared of people or dogs, even. I wave to people, I socialize, I crack jokes and am non-confrontational. I'm just also armed, because there's a lot of wildlife up here in very northern Michigan, and because I'm a woman and sometimes guys get creepy. But now it's also because I refuse to get bitten and bleed all over the sidewalk again.

You're more than welcome to make assumptions, and I'd love for my country to have better restrictions on firearms as a person with my license, even if it means I disarm, as long as we actually have proper reforms to keep me safe without it, but assumptions are always working with limited perspective.

Damn that's fucked up. I'm sorry that happened to you.

I kinda commented without thinking much so I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way. It's just people that act hard and tuff with their little guns that I hate. I have no problem with people owning a gun.

Oh, no worries. I consider myself a defense advocate before a gun nut. Whatever you're legal, confident, and competent with is what you should have, anywhere in the world, to protect yourself.

I have a much smaller handgun now, and figured out a way to keep it closer on my walk home now.

I don't feel tough, I just feel a deep sense of responsibility for any action I take 😅

The most respectable gun owner is the one that you never realizes owns a gun.

Exactly. And I forgot to add that sport shooters and hunters are a completely different thing.

It's just people like the women in the video that I can't stand.

Being someone that loves shooting and knows how to use a gun and also being someone that spent way to much time in places with a shit load of crime I can say with out a doubt that if I carried a gun in those places I wouldnt be around today. Go try to order some food at the Kensington McDonald's in philly strapped and let me know if that complicates the situation at all.

  • [deleted]

    ..because that's a woman?

  • How the fuck would barely knowing how to use your own gun make it ok?

Like i guess she doesn't want to be seen as a gun nut but how the fuck is carrying an actual firearm without even knowing how to really use it better than being a gun nut. I also dislike gun nuts but at least they usually won't kill someone with a negligent discharge.

Pretty sure OP was being sarcastic, that isn’t her actual caption

  • Cute doggies, so that's nice.
Also the "gun reveal" was one of the campest things I've ever laid eyes on!

  • Completely viable response to someone threatening to shoot your dogs tbh.

  • So we finally found a use for that tiny pocket on blue jeans? I've wondered for so long why that pocket was there

Used to be for pocket watches, now it’s for pocket pistols

  • The freedom to be afraid all of the time.

  • Neither is your thigh.

  • If I was friends with her, I would definitely carry a torniquet on me for when she shoots herself in the leg.

Personally I'd end the friendship but to each their own.

  • People are definitely not bullet proof. Saw the after results of a guy playing cowboy with a gun tucked into the back of his pants. It entered his cheek, and left his thigh but not in a straight line.

  • I'm not a fan of guns and have no knowledge of them other than maybe putting it in a holster instead of your pocket.

  • Nah she’s one of us. There’s a ton of dudes who get insecure at the thought of anything taking them in a fight, including dogs. They’ll respond with shit like “your dogs can’t protect you from a gun though”. Hers is a great response.

Just look up any video of a women’s self defense lesson and see how many neckbeards are in the comments

Would be a good response if she had a holster and had training. She's just stupidly putting herself at risk that way

In a real scenario this could be a great response! Fortunately for us she posted this badass video about how she’s already thought it through.

  • I actually get this response to creepy guys who feel the need to tell women how unsafe they are. She obviously needs a better way to keep the gun but I get the sentiment.

  • Stupidity aside, what the fuck is the design of those pockets?

I thought she just had an extremely flat ass simce i didn't pay attention

    Open carry pockets

  • What's a femoral artery??

A female artery? I barely knew her

  • That’s an accident waiting to happen. “But muh right to bear arms!”

  • Dogs just want biscuits 🤷‍♂️

    Sometimes scritches

  • Whoa. Dogs.. AND a gun? Consider me intimidated! Oh my!!

  • Reminds me of that quote from the movie The Watch.

"They gave me a gun, and they didn't teach me how to use it properly, so you're in a lot of danger if you don't just back the fuck up now, okay?!"

  • So much insecurity in this video.

  • If ever a giant red flag was a human being, it would be this one

  • Who has ever said to her "your dogs aren't bulletproof"? Was she having a conversation about shootings dogs with someone??

I'm fairly certain that these dogs are trained in some sort of bitesport, and this is a very common line men give women who train their dogs in bitesports. They find out that a woman has a trained attack dog*, and they try to rub it in her face that a sexual predator could just kill her dog with a gun before raping her.

Often it's the men who train and compete in bitesports themselves that say this shit. It's a very sexist and gatekeeper-y community dominated by men who think they're badasses for owning a malinois.

She's a dumbass for having it in her pocket like that though. Idk how guns work but I hope she emptied it first.

*most of the women in bitesports I've interacted with don't even do bitesports for that purpose. They do it because they love dog training and bitesports is training on a whole other level and demands a great amount of skill and knowledge.

    Probably the ATF

People actually do say that shit I’m not even kidding a woman will post a video of her walking dogs (typically larger dogs in this case) and a bunch of men will unironically say that shit even though the video wasn’t about dogs being used for protection at all.

This stuff only really happens on Instagram reels however.

Thats exactly what this video was in response to. She posts videos of her dogs that she has trained very well and a guy commented "Your dogs aren't bulletproof." This isn't here trying to be badass this is her responding to a threat to herself and her dogs

yep, crazy how people on here will just jump on a hate bandwagon without knowing what they’re talking about

Yeah i only see those types of comments on ig reels. Maybe on Twitter too, sometimes, but very rarely. I don't know what is it about instagram that attracts the vilest guys ever

  • I don’t think you just put it in your pocket like your phone

  • No holster, probably doesn’t know if one is chambered. This is the precursor to those videos where people accidentally shoot their friend in the face

Or everything and anything below the waist.

  • typical scared American

nah there are some places in the united states that lone women are smart to be armed, if you don’t live in the united states you would not know

People in other countries don't know about rape, muggings, and murder?! Someone should warn them!

i don’t mean that. i mean the culture around firearms creates an environment here that makes it available, legal, and often times necessary to be armed. quit being an ass.

maybe but that doesn’t require showing it off on social media

that is a valid point, there’s definitely plenty of criticism to be made of the post itself

This could be said about any country tbh.

Why would she be scared, she has a gun?

The gun is the symptom of fear not the cure to the fear.

Seems like a cure to me. Now she doesn’t need to be afraid

    A very American POV

Or any of the other countries that lets their citizens defend themselves

    American exceptionalism

It’s American exceptionalism to recognize that other countries allow guns for self defense?

    Such as?

The Czech Republic, Switzerland and Finland to name a few

  • Good thing she doesn't have a penis to shoot off!
