The poor guys directing traffic had been out all day and looked absolutely miserable. My girlfriend came up with the idea to take some of the left over Halloween chocolate bars and hand them out to the workers on our way in to town for coffee. It was great. Cheered everyone up, at least a little.
Every day we get to choose to do this. This guy this is “normal” to record himself stealing people’s stuff and running away. We can do kind gestures for others, and can do it all without recording it, without posting it on social media and without ever telling anyone we did it, just do it because we expect nothing in return.
