i posted her a while ago and she got so much love from you guys! she’s still doing her best despite getting less light (and admittedly, less consistent care😅) during the winter 🩷 def needs a repot but im scared lmao. if anyone else decided to let theirs trail, id love to see!
I wouldn’t have hated every single ppp I’ve ever owned if they had done this.
Exactly.
Ohhh this is super charming!! I didn't know I needed a trailing ppp until today! 😍💖
same! Where can I get one?!
Check your local plant groups/shops and grocery stores! Also I’ve seen some sold by online plant retailers :)
Oh I didn't know they could trail! I might do this with mine.
I fully support this! 😊If you decide to I’d love to see how it turns out!
Genuinely never wanted a ppp till now
ditto!! 🩷
These have always been tough for me to get a nice growth pattern from and I have never thought of letting it trail like this!!
It looks like one of the best princesses I have ever seen. Like that is one happy motherfing plant. lol
Excellent work.
Thank you so much! I’m just happy she’s happy. 😂🩷
Could you post a picture of what the pot looks like from the top??? I’ve got a tall lanky PPP that’s propped up by a pole and not doing a darn thing that I’ve been considering letting it try trailing.
It seems like so many people have issues getting them to take to a pole! I’m all for letting them trail :) another person also asked for a pic of the top too - I’ll try to post one tomorrow!
I hope this helps!

What is your secret? I bought one in 2020 and it has never ever grown.
Same! I have a tiny one that hasn’t grown much. It’s 5 years old and still a baby.
They need a good amount of light. Mine is on a pole but has upsized nicely.
Honestly think my secret might be just letting her do her own thing? I keep her near a sw window & water sparingly (every 8-10ish days maybe?). I also live in a warm and humid part of the US, so that could definitely play a role too! I hope yours decides to put out some new growth for you soon 🌿
What kind of lighting is this in? Your leaves are so gorgeous and green! Mine are always slightly brown.
Thank you! It sits near a sw facing window! I get browning from time to time too 🫶
So healthy and beautiful
I might not have hated this plant as much as a trailer. I ended up giving away my mother plant and subsequently 4 more props Brevard they never looked nice. Plenty of pretty leaves, but the growth was so deformed looking!
So pretty! Mine is about to topple in its sad moss pole, maybe I should just give into the lean and let it trail too
Same situation here!
That’s crazy. I’d be afraid mine would snap off. It’s hearty, but??
I’ve never had any issues with mine breaking :) I let mine hang but one could always let it run horizontally across a flat surface
It’s absolutely stunning! I love trailing plants though. I really didn’t think I could trail it so all I saw was a future of staking it. 🤔 THIS I would do.
They are actually pretty
Im sorry but howwwww is this even possible, she looks gorgeous? Mine has low variagation, and the pink parts always turn brick-orange after a few months, and im lucky if she pops out a new leaf every 2-3 months
Thank you so much!! I am honestly so surprised by how well she’s done after reading up on others’ experiences. I’ve read genetics can play a big role in variegation. If you’re giving it good lighting, maybe it’s a genes thing? I also live in a warm and humid climate and I suspect that is one big reason she’s happy!
Omg❣️😍💕💕💕
I have the same but a painted lady! Glad I’m not the only one letting them run wild
Oh that’s a great idea for a painted lady! I bet she’s so pretty. I think my ppp has enjoyed just doing her own thing
Can you show the top? Are the stems scraggly?
Here ya go!

It has some older/uglier leaves at the top, but I don’t think it’s particularly scraggly or anything! I’ll try to snap a pic tomorrow
Thanks! Looks a lot better than I was expecting. I thought the stem would be chunkier and scragglier
I want it 🥺
She is stunning! How do i find one like her?
Its a trailing ppp (Pink Princess Philodendron) and I too wish I could add it to my collection! But I figured the name would help start your search!
Thank you 😌🍃
She was given to me by someone in my local plant group so I got very lucky! As Variousthing mentioned, it is a pink princess philodendron and I’ve seen them sold online as well as in my local grocery store from time to time! Good luck with your hunt 😊
How? I must know your secret. My tiny little girl has been in my care for a couple months now and has shown no new growth. I fear i am failing her. I yearn for a ppp like this
I get it!! I have a similar yearning for alocasia 🥲 I keep my girl near a sw facing window and water when the first few inches of the soil are dry to the touch (every 8-10 days for me!). I fertilize lightly (every watering) during the warmer seasons but haven’t been lately. She seems to like doing her own thing, so I try not to mess with her too much! Good luck with your little girly 🩷
Thank you!
Gorgeous - see the mister on table. Smart
Nice catch haha! I don’t use the mister for this plant, although I have wondered if it’d be helpful for the leaves that get stuck from time to time!
This is the most acceptable ppp I’ve ever seen
So beautiful 😍
I’ll try it again. When I see one that’s pretty, at a good price I’ll try again. 💋
she's glorious
Gorgeous!! The pink!
Hmmm. I have a couple of them I got about eight months ago at the grocery. I think they were potted in the wrong medium as one of them got root rot right away. What would y'all recommend for medium for these gorgeous plants? I think I can get one of them to live maybe.
Wow wish I got better lighting in my apartment. Do you think I could get this kind of growth with a plant light
Your pothos is magnificent.
