I have a 2022 Honda Sport Hatchback. For the last few months I have had consistent issues with the CarPlay. It’s very much so the car and I am wondering what to do because it has become beyond infuriating. If my phone moves even a mm the entire CarPlay connection dies and refuses to reconnect.

A few reasons I know this is a car issue rather than a phone/cable issue:

  • I have used at least 2 dozen different cables (quite literally every USB to lightning cable I could find in my house)
  • I have updated my phone many times throughout the last few months
  • The above mentioned cables work in my house to charge my phone with no issue
  • If you barely touch the cable in the car it instantly kills CarPlay
  • The cable still CHARGES my phone in the car but CarPlay refuses to work

Who else has had this issue. Please help me I’m getting incredibly frustrated and impatient with this stupid car.

  • I would suggest resetting your infotainment system in your car since it sounds like it’s software related. I did this and it fixed some problems I was having (not with CarPlay though). Basically unplug your battery and let the car sit for 10-15 minutes. Gives all the electrics time to reset. Hopefully it’ll help.
