So I have a 2016 Honda civic I bought with 1800miles on it in 2017. I now have 120 thousand miles on it and have still not had to change my front brakes. I have had the rear brakes done 2 times but the second time was free because it was under warranty. Is that weird to have not changed front brakes by now?
Same for my 2014. If the brakes are good, they are good.
Hey guys, check out this morphing video of the incredible evolution of the Honda Civic over 15 years - Morphing Video.

I bought a 2013 civic for my daughter. Off my cousin. He said they did something with the fuses cus it wasn’t starting. But if you tap on the fuses box a couple times it will start up again. Do yall know the reason for this? He said the jumped a fuse or something like that. But I want to fix it where I know it can be reliable for my daughter.

Reaching out and hoping the community can help me save a few bucks. Last winter and again this winter when I start my '09 2 door Civic if it's 35° and below there's a belt slipping sound immediately as it starts It persists for all of 1.5 seconds at most and then stops. A mechanic here in New York tells me it's the timing chain and it needs Hydro tensioner work. He says regardless what it is half the engine needs to come apart to fix it. Last year my mechanic claimed to fix it but then again this winter it's doing the same thing. I'm being quoted $2,500 and up for this repair. I'll take any suggestions on what could cause this. Thanks in advance
I was wondering if anybody can tell me what this sound is likely coming from my timing chain as soon as I start it when it's cold out. It sounds as if the belt is slipping immediately and then catches within 2 seconds. Mechanics around here tell me I need to do hydro tensioner work which will cost upwards of $2,500. I have a feeling there's somebody on this group that can give me some insight on what's really going on here. Thanks in advance! timing chain sound
