I’m not on his side at all since it’s a shitty thing to do but when you loan someone money, expect the slight chance that the money isn’t going to be paid back. Unless there’s a contract involved, which could be the case with that amount of money, it’s a bad move
Naming the first track of your new album “God, Protect Me From My Enemies” after you just stole millions of dollars from your close friend is insane. Inflo is a real piece of shit.
If you give someone money you should never expect it back no matter what they promise. If you borrowing money it’s cause you can’t afford to pay it back. 1700 bands there needs to be a written contract cause as you see mfs is sheisty
I should have provided a clarification but I’m referring to loans between friends, family and relationships alike.
If I’m loaning $2000 to my cousin, I want that money back. I’m going to follow up and do whatever I can (within reason) to get that money. HOWEVER, there’s always going to be a chance that you won’t ever get that money back and that’s the risk when loaning money. Am I still going to loan that money to my cousin knowing there’s a risk of not getting my money back? Absolutely, if I have the means to do it and it’s also my cousin. Now if it was a business loan (or something similar), there has to be a legal document so you can take the business/person to court if necessary.
Yes, Im not pushing for anyones defence, im pushing for impartialness (unless we get more info). Im a big Simz fan and enjoy Lotus and also enjoy SAULT. Parasocial like behaviours are not a good thing though.
However, perhaps my posts come across as parasocial, which is ironic.
Gonna save this for when I’m back from parental leave and have time to vibe
This is very good, their best album in a while. I love 'Dont Worry About What You Can't Control'
ooo shit they back already
fuck inflo
What he did
Little Simz loaned him money (£1.7M apparently) to put on a Sault live show among other things and he never paid her back. She's suing him for that and much of her latest album (which is excellent) is about their falling out. https://www.theguardian.com/music/2025/mar/17/little-simz-sues-former-producer-inflo-over-unpaid-debts

I don't know if there was paperwork for the loans, but either way he betrayed her trust in him based on their years-long collaboration and friendship.

This is horrible advice when operating between businesses and when loaning large amounts of money.
And in life in general. If you give someone money and they promise to pay you back, do not let yourself get hoed, whether it's for $20 or $2000.

failed to pay Simz for a loan (that was for this group) worth almost 2 million so she sued
There is no reason to take sides in a situation we don't have enough information to make a judgement on.
Whether or not there's enough info to make a judgement is entirely subjective.
I mean you've clearly chosen yours bud, fuck that ghoulish religious zealot and his sticky fingers
lol get a life nerd
Im impartial, I enjoy both of their music. You are insulting someone you know next to nothing about
That's interesting becasue I saw you up and down the thread for it in the Sault sub full defence of any knock on it

Goat collective, compartmentalizing to enjoy this
This is interesting. It’s all 60’s James Bond 007 sound-alike soundtracks. Very vintage groovy rock.

Woah I guess they solved their differences
Nah, sault always been Inflo and Cleo sol, they're a couple
I thought it was them 2 and Simz that made Sault?
Simz worked with them but was never part of SAULT. Inflo produced a lot of her albums.
Gotchu thanks
