Mods are being somewhat untruthful when they claim this. They have the power to manually approve posts when this happens, and they are often the ones that actually set the filters up in the first place. It can be because your post was flagged as spam, but more commonly it's because you have a low contributor score, which you can check by posting on r/whatismycqs. Earn karma to increase your score.
As a mod on a calm corner of Reddit: There are at least two levels of moderation from Reddit: Automod and what I call Reddit's anti-spam system.
I can overrule Automod (and edit its "script"), but if Reddit thinks a user is a spammer I can't overrule it. (and often the user gets banned from Reddit fairly quickly after)
I'm not a mod, but it's my understanding that mods also have the power to set the parameters for the reputation filter, which is what OP is running into. You're able to enable the reputation filter on your sub to remove posts from users with a low CQS. So when mods claim it's on reddits side, it's not exactly true because they are the ones enabling the reputation filter on their sub.
It may not be untruthfulness. They may not know that 1) they can set a filter level at High, Low, or off, and 2) for this filter they can move content back out of the Removed queue, as you said, by approving it.
Your account age and total karma isn't always relevant. I saw in your other comment that you said you had a ban recently, which will drop your CQS, thus making filters more likely to remove your posts. If it's simply a case of being flagged as spam, then there's nothing you can do about that except ask mods to approve the post.
Yes. what xBoba said directly above is accurate:
- Your recent shadowban lowers your CQS (see r/WhatIsMyCQS).
- Reddit's Reputation Filter uses CQS as one part of it's formula; it may also check for recent actions like bans as well.
- The Reputation Filter flags the post (or comment) and pushes it off the "display/main queue" and onto the Removed queue.
Mods don't always realize that the Reputation Filter is like Grammerly -- free, and trying to help, but they don't have to listen to it. They can approve content removed by THAT filter (others may vary) without repercussion from admins. BUT they don't have to, either -- they can remove content at their discretion.
You seem to be on good terms with those moderators,, but we'd sstill say, approach them gently: "Hey, r/help says you are allowed to approve content flagged by that filter - is there anything else you need, in order to approve my post?"

I somewhat recall we can set the required "stats" (# of "charisma" and age of account)
But then I have always assumed this prevented people from posting, not give them a notice such as OP sees. But I have not tested this!
You say karma here. you just can't ask to be given any.

Though mods accepted my post because it’s related to the community and it’s a good news; I’ve been in for 2 years with 30k karmas

“Don't know what to tell you. It's Reddit, not us. You're triggering the reputation filter somehow.” They said

Good luck.

I'm simply relaying information on how the filters work. Total karma isn't always relevant. There are many things that can drop your CQS.
Well, it’s said the “lowest,” meaning my accounts stat are back to beginning right?
In a way, yeah. You'll just need to be active and earn karma however you can, and the score will go back up eventually.
Reddit Filters are determined by Reddit, the platform, not by individual mod teams.
They can manually approve the Post and override the filters , but they don't have to.
did you break the sub's rules?
No, the mods explained to me my account was shadowbanned, treating my post as spam than good news; this is after Reddit lifted the ban
Check if your account is shadowbanned! https://www.reddit.com/r/ShadowBan/wiki/detection/
ask them to unban you?
They said they’re not in control of Reddit’s reputation filter
they aren't.
they can manually approve posts though which is what they sid
