The Grand-Daddy. I received 17th Row Tickets from MailOrder (remember that) and was ecstatic. MSG. Friday night. Energy over the top. Fantastic Fire. Second Verse with ensuing guitar is the best.

My favorite version of Fire (perhaps Cornell Barton Hall could be a close 2nd.)

    Edit: when the fire bassline started up there was a generous crowd roar and the woman in front of me was super confused (obviously not a fan at her first show) asked he date ‘why are they cheering, they didn’t do anything’.

    My buddy and I thought it was hilarious and still quote it. Then we got lost and ended up going through the lincoln tunnel and were transported to another dimension - but it was just Jersey
