Courses played in 2024 -- new acct because I lost access to my old one _.
2025 has been a great year—so far I’ve played 79 rounds of golf across 57 courses (49 of which I hadn’t played before) and have two more rounds to go. I only display logo balls for the first time I play at a course and played my second round at Royal Dornoch and Castle Stuart. I also played Chambers Bay 22 times this year (I’m a member there).
I’m sharing a few things below: 1) My overall progress to lifetime goals 2) the new courses I played in 2025 with logo balls shown. In the comments I’ll also share some my favorite pictures that I took along the way this year as well as courses I hope to play in 2026.

Dude just put the pictures of the courses in your main post. You don’t need to include them as 50 individual comments lol
Just a guess but OP seems to have a healthy amount of time on his hands
Not to mention money
Reddit mobile is a PIA for this
Please tell me you played the tips at The Links! Raven and Palouse Ridge are beautiful courses
I was not ready lol

Man I need your job! Nice list of heavy hitters. The Wisconsin golf trip you’ve got planned has been my favorite golf trip of all time.
Yeah wtf does OP do for a living? lol
Big tech Principal PM with unlimited DTO 🥳
This is the one trip I'm looking forward to the most! I put off a western UK/Scotland trip to 2027 for this. I can't wait to play Whistling Straits!
I live in Michigan and Forest Dunes is my favorite course in the state. Have played it every year for the last five.
Have played The Bluffs Course at Arcadia a few times and it is very hit or miss with the weather/wind. Have struck out 2/3 times. Their new short course The Dozen is a must play however. If you have any extra time in the Midland/Saginaw area, hit me up and I’ll get you on the course of the LPGA Dow Championship!
Thanks for the info! I'd love to do that- let me connect when it gets a bit closer
Website says Cabot Revelstoke's opening date is 2027.
Preview play starts in 2026 😉
I don't know anyone else who's played Mukul, nice to see it on your list
Have you played it? What'd you think?
I'm a major DMK fan. I got to meet him on Scarecrow's opening day and he told me I'm the only person he's ever met that's played the Montagu course at Fancourt (his firm led the renovation).
Laucala Island is out of my reach right now but I hope to play it some day 💸
I have, 4 rounds. 18 is obviously the most iconic hole and finishing near sunset is a must if you play.
The rest of the course is nice enough. Anywhere else in the world it's a pretty good track, but in Nicaragua it's outstanding. Most ocean courses get very windy. I didn't find this to be as gusty, but may have just been the weeks I was there.
Also don't get spooked by the howler monkeys, they seem to enjoy going off during your swing.
I assume if you're playing it you'll be staying there. The beach club has great food, but there are a lot of little surf towns near by that also make for a great meal
I worked remotely in Costa Rica for six weeks so I'm very familiar with the howler monkeys haha. Thanks for the tips!
When I retire, I hope my yearly itinerary looks like this. Until then, not enough time nor money. Nice work.

Cape Wickham #1
I was there in February and got super lucky with perfect weather and low winds, absolutely loved it and shot a PB at the King Island Composite course.
People don't understand how special this course is. It's literally a better version of Pebble that you can have all to yourself if you have an early enough tee time
I loved it but saw so many Tiger Snakes. Such stunning scenery and a well-designed course.

Pasatiempo #16
Played Pasatiempo in the fall. Had a right pin on the top shelf. Hit it up there past the pin and just to the right of it. As soon as I hit it, caddy said, well that is aggressive. Missed the 12’ birdie putt short, but I figured if it went long I’d be down near that pin.
I was 70 yards out and hit the incline just behind the pin and let it roll back to four ft. Nevermind my duffed approach shot that let be 70 yards out to do this in the first place 😜
Pasa #16 is the best green in the world

I stand corrected! Thank you
It's tragic what the casino did to their budget after Katrina. It was so perfect before that

Cabot Highlands Old Petty #3
That’s a great collection. Living in Irvine, this really makes me miss golf trips outside Orange County. Each logo brings back a different kind of memory.
That’s so many golf trips lol. Are you retired? How are able to pull all of this off in one year?
But seriously, how in the world were you able to do this?
Big tech Principal PM + unlimited DTO + awesome boss
That’s wild. A lot of three day weekends I’m assuming.
That and some remote work. I stacked about half of this in a couple of two week vacations
Thanks for coming to Canada!
I love Canadian golf. See you again in May and sorry about our shitty president!
Where are you playing in 2026?
In Canada specifically? Kananaskis Mt Lorette and Stewart Creek. I'd love to play Victoria National in BC some day.
Already played Banff Springs, Jasper Park, and Cape Breton courses (Cabot + Cape Breton Links) in 2023-2024
An impressive year!

Lofoten Links #2
Worth the trek?
Yes! I'm glad that I went there but don't think I'd go back honestly. Side note - the restaurant associated with the course is amazing
It must rule to be rich
I guess it's a relative measure but I really don't think I'm rich. The rich ones are those that can pull out $25k to play at Ellerston or $100k to rent out Ardfin to me
I mean I get what you are trying to say but the comment is pretty out of touch lmao.
That's fine, I wouldn't expect it to resonate with most people and don't care about the downvotes. I recognize this is out of reach for most and how fortunate I am to be able to do it, but it's not like it was accidental lol. It was 15 years of purposeful decision making starting off with literally nothing and parents that were a teacher and truck driver.
And it doesn't mean I'm rich lol which I'm objectively not.

Streamsong Red #16
Good hole, long is bad. Very, very bad. Lots of gators in that lake too.
Pretty much in every body of water on the property 🐊
Can’t be worse than the junk in front of the green, which is where I hit my ball.

Torry Pines South- looking back from 18th fairway
That is a bonkers list in one year! Congrats to my fellow golf world traveler. Did you miss Royal St George's while in Deal/Sandwich? That was my favorite new course played this year.
Row 7 #1 is my all time hidden gem of hidden gems. Curious to hear what you thought.
I played RSG a couple of years ago and the days they allow visitor play didn't line up with my schedule. That and I wanted to play a new course instead. That being said RSG is a Top 10 all-time favorite of mine!
I really liked Elie! It's a bit stacked but they do some really cool stuff plus everyone there was so nice.
Ah yeah, they are only open to the public a few days a week. RSG is definitely top 10 for me too! I think I'd put it 4th on my personal list of close to 2,000 courses played.
Prince's was fine, I enjoyed it. Royal Cinque Ports was awesome and a brute, a few changes and they could host an Open again. I would love to go back next year for the Hagen 54.
Curious how you came up with 17 Dream Golf Courses. Even counting the short courses at Bandon and Sand Valley, I get 14 when I add in Wild Spring Dunes and Rodeo Dunes
It's 16- I miscounted. WSD and RD are both opening with two courses. It will be 17 one day if Old Shores goes through!
Yo I would love those shelves can you link one those? I’m collecting balls too!!

Sent you a DM if you want a Midwest TPC hookup.
You came to Spokane/Coeur D Alene but play the Cda Resort? Circling Raven is a much better course, but typically I’ll see the resort in the mix.
I played CDA resort a couple of years ago on my way to Banff Springs from Seattle
Makes sense, I’ll only play with new people who haven’t played it before. I always recommend Circling Raven over the resort if they’ve played it.
If you get back up this way, and haven’t played it before, The Idaho Club in Sandpoint is a great track as well.
Agreed- Circling Raven is a really special piece of property. Hope to get the chance to play Gozzer Ranch someday
How was Monte Rei? played it last year but was pretty underwhelming in terms of quality.
Honestly felt the same way. With lots of dead grass and a tight/punishing layout I didn't find anything redeeming about the course. Not sure why it was so high in the rankings for a while
What rack do you use for your collection? I need one.

Rory rated Kingston Heath higher than RM when he was here. Your thoughts?
100%. I was completely underwhelmed by RM
Interesting! I have played Kingston Heath. But not RM. Kingston Heath is the best course I have played by a mile. You'll have to play the new 7 mile in Tasmania when you're back next.
Yeah I need to get back to play Royal Melbourne East at some point. Check out Hamilton Island GC if you've never heard of it! Might not be the best course but it's remote with stunning views
I want to play lofoten links so bad
I’ve played all the streamsong courses and grand bear and arrowhead. All great courses.
I can't wait for the new one (White/Green?) to open up!
How good is Elie!
You guys need to stop telling people about Elie
It's a little stacked but they've done an amazing job with what they had to work with! Third time in my life I've driven a green haha
Damn wish my wife hated me this much where I could go golfing all the time
Just get a divorce 😉
Is this the great 80 trillion dollar wealth transfer I've been hearing about?
I AIN'T GIVING YOU NO TREE FIDDY YOU GOD DAMN LOCH NESS MONSTA
This summer at Arcadia Bluffs, I played with a married couple who had played every major course you can imagine. If they legitimately counted every stroke they hit, they scored 120+. There is a difference between saying you played the course and took on the challenges it presents or just teeing a shot up and slapping it around so that you can say you experienced the location. Not to judge you in particular but casual golfers are often sight seer’s at these venues rather than golfers trying to match their skills against the design and elements.
Nice way to remember wonderful courses played
