What’s the rule in golf if another person hits your marker with their ball! I’m asking those poker chips are thick and a ball would hit it and change direction.
If a ball hits a marker and is deflected, there is no penalty for either player and you play your next shot as it lies.
You may ask a player to move their marker if it is in your line. Typically they do this my measuring a club handle or club away from your line perpendicular to the hole.
Yes, poker chips make terrible markers for this reason.
I keep them in a stack on my desk that I sometimes mess with during work calls
I do the same with the silver coins I buy on r/Pmsforsale . I like the clink clink piratey treasure chest aspect

A laminate floor sample and a little double sided tape
This is so clean!
I like this.
I have what is basically a "photo album" type book made for large coins or casino chips, with a bunch of little clear pouches on each "page".
That's absolutely brilliant. Trip to Michael's in the near future.

I use a replacement golf ball as my marker.
Honestly that's why I use the one's with the smaller insert.
I've always been too afraid of the huge poker chip negatively impacting someone's putt.
The ball would hit and change direction if it hit a dime too.

These type of dime-sized markers are the best. They are very flat.
Did I say dime sized markers that press into the ground or "a dime"?
IE golf is the best in Southern California
I don't disagree.
I use that blue sticky tac and affix them onto my shelf.

I use a leather valet on my golf bag stand.
Just played Bobby Jones and got the same chip!
I have the Vegas one but in Scottsdale version
I only have like 5 right now so I keep them in my valuable pouch.
Cross Creek is incredible!!! Happy to see it in a prominent place!
Someone is from SoCal
No place I'd rather be in this hemisphere.
Give it up for goose creek!
