(To avoid any confusion, we would like to reiterate that we are a hoi4 mod development team composed of GFL enthusiasts, not the Sunborn game development team.)
Happy New Year 2026 everyone! Due to recent progress by the team, a new development log is being released. Since the previous development log was mistakenly written as the 4th, this is considered the 3rd.

Is that a GFL mod for HI4?
Yes, this is a mod based on the prequel setting, and a demo will be uploaded on February 14th.
So can you explain a little bit more, please!
Sure, I've explained this in a previous post, you can click here:https://www.reddit.com/r/girlsfrontline/comments/1o7e3m4/revealing_the_progress_of_a_group_of_chinese_gfl/
Very good
th very much
Looks pretty cool. I've never played any of the hoi games.
thx
I’m curious what level of complexity for the combat are you going for here? Is it going to be like millennium dawn or with tons of new types and many more designers/units types, or TNO with a whole economy and multiple mini modes with unique gui? Or like Novum Vexillum where it’s just the base game with a reskin with a new map, story and focus trees? Or somewhere in between like TFR?
It will be very similar to TFR, but we've also added some interesting and unique mechanics based on the game world's setting, such as a strategic strike system that allows you to launch a full-scale nuclear war.
Ohohoh very nice I’m a big sucker for strategic-scale games and mechanics. Stuff like Highfleet’s manual radar searching and plotting missile launches. That’d be epic
I love this, great work
Wow I really look forward to it !
What did you use to map the zones affected by collapse radiation ? I remember a map created by YZsFerari on Twitter based on the cannon events and images we had in 2023, maybe there was some updates but I guess it could help you for key locations and slightly more accurate collapse zones :)
