Can't really tell you a lot, but I know a guy who learned to be a tiler in his teens, then went into higher education and finally became a prof at a pretty large university. When he retired, he said "I really should have kept working as a tiler, would have earned more that way."

Generally, tradesmen are in short supply, like electricians, plumbers, etc.
Tiling is also affected. So it should be fairly easy to find work.
If you speak Dutch and are a Dutch citizen, you should have an easy start.
