As cute as it is, it was also a little sad because he was so lonely at the time. When we first got him to be our guard goose for the chickens, we didn't realize that it was bad for them to be alone (since that's what other farms had done). Lemongrab would cry as soon as I (Beverly) would be out of eyesight. Baby geese and ducks are suuuper clingy, lol. So we got him a mirror and a stuffed toy to keep him company.
But it broke my heart knowing he was still alone even if he didn't realize it. So that's why we ended up getting Lemongrab another friend shortly afterward (Lemongrab 2, a.k.a. Tooey). They weren't alone anymore, though they were still rather clingy since they were still babies, haha. But definitely recommend getting waterfowl in pairs or more because they need a flock!
