Is there just a quick list of everything worth unlocking/looking into on the network? Not huge lore guy so more interested in any hidden items or parts etc.
Since you got no useful comments here's one:
1.) Best wanzer in the game (comes with the only obtainable laser weapon) is obtained from the network, but that is late into the game and I've read that you saw about it on gamefaqs.
2.) There are simulator maps which can be used to grind, or make your team OP but lock you out of platinum medals.
To explain: low level gear vs high level enemies gives a lot more exp, so if you get the map that is endgame (can be found very early on the network) and just hit the enemy, for that hit alone you'll get more exp than you get for a kill usually. BUT platinum medals require you to be similar level to the enemy or you get - score. Up to you how you use that info.
Nothing else is worth noting if you're not interested in the lore.
Like you get passwords, file crackers, wallpapers...random silly stuff to make the network interesting and lore accessible.
But on gamefaqs you already have all the passwords you need.
Although it was easier to use Gamefaqs and such for website passwords as the ingame system gets rather messy (although those guides are missing several passwords)
First is a High tier simulator fight with imaginary numbers (enemy later on). You'll miss them hard, but a miss will get you from class A to class C⭐⭐⭐. Fastest way to grind weapon proficiency. It can be accessed as soon as you get access to the network.
Second is an ultimate wanzer, but you can get that one at the end of the game.
There is also interesting stuff there, some small character developments but nothing essential if I remember correctly. It's been 22 years since I played it last time :)

There's a skill that's indispensable for missiles and snipers called Arm Smash, granted with Linny's Wanzer.
How do you get it?
Foura M12A's arm
This has nothing to do with the network though...did you even read OP's entire post?
I’m totally blanking out rn but gamefaqs original game applies to fm3r. Infernal dial secret wanzer is a key one you want later on.
I did see gfaqs had a couple of guides on it
Path to Emma after completing the 8 characters
Just read your emails and stuff. The web can be ignored for the most part.
Emails and bbs stuff gives passwords.

The game now has a feature to save passwords and show them to you at the corresponding terminals on the network.
Yeah i noticed that halfway through as well, not sure if those aldo carry into new game+ as well though.
They do not.
Thats annoying. Sadly enough.
Network can get you 2 very valuable things.
