Albino bullfrogs. They eventually died from gout. The vet said it was genetic/hereditary. This picture is from when they were both still healthy. It’s been a few years since the last one died and I still miss them very much. Mack and Jack. The biggest one was 6 inches from nose to butt. I got them as tadpoles from an online ad. I didn’t post them for the first picture. They did that by themselves.
Rip froggies💔 so sorry for your loss.

Didn't know frogs can get gout?!?
It’s usually associated with poor husbandry, but I asked the vet if I was doing anything wrong. She said no; they see it a lot in albino frogs. It’s genetic. He got very fat from water retention and the vet would draw fluid from him to make him more comfortable. When he started to look miserable, I had him put down.
Thanks. My friend who has gout looks a bit like a frog, I wonder if there's a connection 🤔
Does he eat fries and roaches?
They look like they were absolute goofballs. I'm sorry for your loss.

Frog Jenga.
What lovely froggers. Looks like they got along great even though they were both male. Did they ever sing for you?
Nope. They never did make any noise. I don’t know why.
The terrific 2
