Using an undated Midori Yuru Log for ink swatches! While sheen doesn’t show off as much in this paper compared to TRP or others, I’m quite happy with this paper since it’s thick enough that there is no ghosting on the other side. This lets me us both sides of the paper for swatches. I’ve been using this to keep track of my inks by colour family.
Love this idea! And huge heart eyes for your palette. I'm swooning!
What technique are you using to create the swatches?
I swatch them with a glass rod :)
What is the pouch please
I made these pouches myself :)
So beautiful omg. You are very talented and gorgeous color choices. I’m going to try !! Is there a tutorial i can follow?
There is no tutorial or pattern for them currently as I created it myself.
I second this. That's what I was coming here to ask. :)
What are the pens?
From top to bottom:
FWI Pencket Morganite
Sailor x Hachimonjiya PG Kubozakura
Pilot Custom 74 Lavender Fog
NBC X Platinum Century 3776 Chai
How do you like that pilot custom 74? And what nib did you get?
They’re all so pretty btw, great taste!
I have the SF so I'm kind of meh about it. Maybe I just need to put the right ink in 🙃
Which one would you rather have?
I wanted a F nib, but they only offer soft nibs or BB.
my favorite color palette!! how do you like kobe inks? I was thinking about getting some samples of their purples.
Kobe inks are lovely. Minatogawa Lime and Suzuran Green are two all-time favorites of mine with no real dupes.
suzuran green looks absolutely stunning, my goodness! thank you for the recommendations
Kobe inks are very well behaved. Not dry and not overly wet like Iroshizuku line.
oh, them not being iroshizuku level wet is music to my ears. thank you!!
Nice! I want, but I don't need. 😩
Exactly my problem since I literally just bought a notebook to do ink swatches. I'm trying to convince myself that I need this too cause then I'd have Cosmo Air Light AND Midori paper for swatches 😈... But alas, swatching in too many places is unwise 😔
Swatching in too many places is also time consuming! But at least I'm using up the inks LOL
Gorgeous! What do you use for the swatch, and what do you use for the writing?
For swatch, I use a glass rod. For writing, I use a dip pen I got from Taobao. It's similar to the Pilot Iro-utsushi but it has a feed.
Hi! Is it possible to have a link of the dip pen please? Thank you

Beautiful, great idea! I love midori paper
I really love how thick and sturdy this paper is! Zero ghosting!
Idk where you are, but the price isn’t too bad for me which is also a plus

A fellow purple lover! 💜💜💜
I looked up this book, because I love the Midori paper, but it seems it’s only in B6, but how? How is it possible that you can fit all that? 😅 It is awesome. It looks really good.
I didn't realize it only comes in B6! But I write small so it was big enough for me to fit everything inside!
It is so impressive. Looking closer at the size of the pens, I can see you really do make everything fit on a B6 page. It looks really cool!
Great idea! Lovely handwriting, too.
Gorgeous colours 🥰 which are your favourites?
I really really like Platinum Lavender Black. I love watching it change colours!
Wooooo!! Ink!!! Swoooooonnnnnn!!
That’s so clever!!! And I adore this color palette and your beautiful pen pouch - excellent work :) Did you follow a specific pattern, or did you self-draft it? Either way, it’s lovely!
I created the pattern myself! After a few trials and error 😅
That Robert Oster Burgundy Chocolate Notes is looking real nice.
I just wanna say I fell in love with your writing font 💜
This is beautiful to look at. Like an art book.
These photos give me so much joy=3 Such a lovely idea and colours=3
Your handwriting is insane!
