From left to right.
Asvine c80, c2000 ebonite, p20, p30, p36, p50, p80, j16, v126, v169, v200, v800.
They are all amazing. I recommend all of them.

  • The C80 and V800 are my EDC’s for work. The nibs are really ✨ chefs kiss ✨

  • Which one is your favorite? Also, beautiful collection, I like that you have colors and different finishes! But I think you meant left to right and maybe forgot j16?

Thank you, I corrected it. I don't know which one I prefer. I can't live without any of them, lol. The c2000 in ebonite is stunning to look at. Also, the v126 is perfect for a more business setting. It all depends...

Help me out haha! I have watched lots of reviews of the Asvine but don’t know which one to try, so don’t own a single one yet. I love my Majohn P140 which is big and has a number 8 nib. I’m thinking maybe the c2000 first? (I don’t particularly want to try vac filler bc I like changing inks often, or I’d go for the v800).

    C80 or C2000 then

well, you can always not fill the v800 to full. Maybe just a half pump. Technically, the v 800 is the best asvine pen.

I agree, but I also love the v200. I mean it would be between those two for me 800 or v200.

If you really like the p140 the v800 is almost similar in size and shape with the #8 size nib . Price wise I would say try the p20, its caps well and if you have big hand it’s not too small and it’s not as heavy or as long and the v200 if you don’t like it you can gift it some one, if the person is new to the hobby they won’t be too afraid to use it and there is lots of information out there about it.

  • I'm really enjoying my J16 but most Asvine pens are too girthy for comfort. 😕

Well it depends on what suits you, for example I found the pilot MR and hongdian blackforest way to thin for me to write with. You should try th p50, it has the thinnest grip for an asvine pen. Also, the p50 has a new mat black version if you don't prefer the original colors.

  • Thanks for sharing your lovely collection of Asvines!

Since you recommend all of them, perhaps you can recommend a particular one for me? I like a pen that posts and is well-balanced when posted (i.e. not too back heavy), not super heavy (probably not much more than 30g or so), and has a moderate to girthy grip (at least 10mm). Which models would you suggest I look at?

The v126 is the best poster. But if you like girthier pens, take a look at the v800 and is also a decent poster.

    Thanks for your recommendation!

  • I'm happy with my Asvine and want to get more.

  • Awwww damn. Why’d ya get me looking at more pens?? Goes looking….

  • I've got the V126 and absolutely love writing with it. The nib on mine is smooth and performs really well with dye-based inks. I've been thinking of getting either the V200 or V800 as well.

I love my v126, but the v200 is my go-to. I love the extra size & weight -- not as many colors though.

  • I love my J16 and V126, I wish l liked the C80 as much, but I think mine are on the outs. The #8 nib has no character for me out of the box.

  • Hold up, os the p50 a bulkier p36?

No not at all. They are completely different in both shape and size.

  • I currently own the P20, P80, V126 and a polished J16 soon to be joined by the brushed J16 then I'll see what's next in the new year I've become a bit of a Chinese pen fan boy which wasn't on my bingo card for this year lol!

With the Japanese pens skyrocketing in price you have no choice.

  • I currently have the V200 and the P30! Love em both!

  • What do you think of v126? I bought the 9019 for capacity but it’s too large for my hand

Being heavily inspired by the pilot custom 823 you absolutely have to try this or the real deal. Go for it. When on sale you can find it around 30 euro taxed.

seconding the enforcement of the v126, I have 3 of them and they're all inked. They come in such pretty colors!

  • We have very similar colours in our asvines- you have good taste. They’re quickly becoming some of my favourite pens!

  • I own a C80, v126 and p30. They are all fabulous, but the C80 is the one I love most

  • I have 2 Asvine V126, one clear and the other frosted. Always ready to write, great flow, and never skips or stalls. I’m looking to pick up the v200 Titanium in the new year.

  • Fantastic collection! What's the name of the gold one?

  • J16 and V800 are absolute workhorse pens! I use it alternately along with my Capless (constant)

  • I love my Asvines and have 3 in my collection so far, C2000 (green ebonite) C2000 (stabilized wood in oasis) and a V800. Such well made pens and terrific writers. Use mine daily. Your collection is beautiful!

  • Some real beauty’s in there

  • I really enjoy the asvine pen , you have a very nice collection. Have you tried a jowo nib in any other of your pens ? Other than the one that came with the j16. If you have how do you enjoy the experience.

I have a jowo flex fine and a broad

  • I love my V126. The P20 has a major flaw in the design. If you post the cap, the inner cap seal locks onto the piston filler knob. If you move it at all to unseat it, ink shoots out the nib. I hope they fix it!

  • I love Asvine too, I've got seven I think

On your v800, how is the trim? It looked so cheapy I've hesitated to buy it, but everyone seems to like theirs. Do I just not like the design of the cap ring, or is it a little too... idk

  • The Asvine C80 number 8 nib really is amazing. I've a fine and a stub... both lovely.

  • Does your v200 have the Bach nib? If so, how do you like it?

No normal asvine nib. In my experience bock nibs are not worth it. Overrated. Not bad just nothing special. Jowo nibs are way better but I would still prefer to buy the normal. Asvine nib and save the money.

Thanks for the insight. I've always been tempted to swap one end or just buy another one LOL the v200 is my daily carry for now... Lol
