Nope, their regular inks aren't considered scented. Most of the regular KWZ lineup smell like that. If you want a scented one, try KWZ Smells like coffee
Since it seems like your first KWZ ink, I'd recommend you to move some of it to an empty bottle or sample vial if you plan to use it often. Their bottle cap design leaves a bit to be desired, and while there is no ink evaporation, the ink that does get to the cap eventually dries up in the threads and will fall when you open it. It's a bit annoying to clean up.
Dr. Konrad used to post in the fountainpennetwork website, he explained in one post about the smell, it's just one of the components of the ink, you may look for it.
Too bad. :( I have not tried it yet in a pen to see how strong the odor will be. I have a case of Sailor cartridges that have a strong chemical smell though and fortunately it is not noticeable when writing.

I read somewhere that some Vaseline on the rim helps, so I use that on my bottles.
Their regular inks are not scented. Their biocide additive has vanilla-like smell. I like that smell but for some people might be a bit overwhelming
