Isn't this the prettiest ugly pen you've ever seen? It's light in my hand, feels like I can write for a long time with it. Inked up with Pilot Iroshizuku. Wet writer. Happy Day!! Sincere thanks to those of you who are buying my pens!!

  • Agreeing with the prettiest ugly pen 🤣 It looks melted but like artistically so and it’s just neat cuz it’s so unique.

  • This pen looks like it was dipped in coagulated blood, it's weird, but I'm into it.

As a critical care nurse this was actually my first thought.

  • That’s a gorgeous pen. The finish is quite natural looking, almost like the pen was grown or something. I think the KOP is an extremely comfortable pen and the nibs are sublime; enjoy!

My wife says it looks like an overcooked hotdog!

  • My 6 year old niece made something like that from clay for school

  • Welcome to the Sailor Wabi Sabi appreciation gang šŸ¤šŸ˜Ž

  • Very beautiful in a ugly kind of way. I real borderline pen.

  • Looks perfect for any lover of horror or macabre. Love it.

  • This is why I dont have chocolate delivered anymore šŸ˜•

  • It's straight out of the upside down world of Stranger Things.

  • Sickeningly beautiful

  • I saw the desc in the Sailor website. It says this has ebonite feed. How do you clean it? Is different from the usual feed?

  • It looks like the hot wheels my younger brother tried to ā€œrepaintā€ with nail polish when we were kids. It left terrible pitting because he somehow left bubbles all over the cars when he did it, and then they all popped once it dried.

They would probably be worth a fortune today!

Part of me feels like this is sarcasm, but I also don’t know if 90’s hot wheels held resell value like other toys did (I still have some of the OG Beyblades still sealed in there boxes I bought for like $2-5 when I was a kid. They were worth $80-200 when I looked them up like two years ago).

Tbh I didn’t mind so much because he did it to cars I didn’t care too much about, I just remember it looking like that because he somehow got a bunch of bubbles in the ā€œpaintā€ job.

No sarcasm intended -- it amazes me how nostalgia puts a value on things. My son collected beanie babies during the initial craze. Had several that he bought for list price that went to a few hundred dollars. Thinking they would help him buy his first car if he held on to them he did just that, and the bottom dropped out. Fast forward 15 years and mom and dad are tired of toting them around, and when he says he doesn't want them any more, we donate them to Goodwill. 5 years later and some are again worth hundreds! I saw some reports on hot wheels a few years ago where they were coming back, and some cars were worth a lot even if all beat up!
