Honestly, when I see the trend of hating pit bulls I have to leave the post/comments. You can’t win with people who think they’re automatically pieces of shit. Ignorance also plays a part and I’m sure most have never owned a pitbull before so 🤷🏽♀️. I’ve owned pitbulls and all have been sweet so I think a lot of the aggression comes down to a lack of pet parent education and improper training.
Retrievers retrieve. Pointers point. Herding dogs herd. Pitbulls kill. That’s what they’ve always been bred to do, so that’s what they do. Just like those other dogs.
Maybe they are holy animals? Religion is subjective based on the believer and the belief.
The fact is that u/Drackenstein is correct- Pitbulls have been bred to kill for many generations. It’s not the owner’s fault. It’s like bringing a non-domesticated, wild animal breed into your barn.
