For Me, It was Merrin in Engage. She was the GOAT.

  • Marty. Real ones know ball

it ain't a party without scroll stacking marty

marty party marty party marty party

catch capture me if you can

  • Haar in Radiant Dawn is such a euphoric feeling watching him slaughter the enemy <3 I already love his design but him being the absolute best unit is a bonus. Also my favorite boss dialogue of all time:

“He is the last true knight. I will die for him.”

    “Yes, Levail. You will.”

Haar taking one side of the map while the rest of Team Micaiah takes the other half will never not be cool

  • Owain! I absolutely adore his character and it’s so much fun to make him a great unit!

Owain/Odins personal skill in fates was amazing too. It made you actually take the time to give his weapons personal names which felt very on bramd for him

  • Cordelia (Fire Emblem Awakening) y Scarlet (Fire Emblem Fates)

Hey Cordelia is my pick too

You mean Scarlet (Fire Emblem Birthright)? If not color me surprised as I've never seen anyone who likes using Scarlet in rev.

I like Scarlet (as a character in general).

  • Sain in FE7 is always an absolute unit. I always play Lyn mode and get his Strength insanely high, he's a wrecking ball.

Definitely one of the better hopeless philanderers of the series lol

Not beating my boy Gray though. The lad is a freak of nature in combat and he actually bagged the girl

  • Mareeta in Thracia 776 may not be the most optimal unit ever but the swordmaster animations on the SNES and the combo astra + luna really make her the coolest mf around.

I feel the same way about Olwen. Both her and Mareeta are on my team 100% of the time.

  • Yunata in Engage. Besides how insane she can get, I love her personality. She's all cheerful and quirky until one of her crit lines or during some cut scenes where her actual personality comes out.

She's so fun. I love trying to attempt solo some maps with her.

  • The one, the only, Seth: Silver Knight of Renais. He is a kind and noble person who’s dedicated to his lieges and the spitting image of a knight in shining armor. He’s also famously strong, but I just love everything about him.

Is he a Jagen or does he actually get good growths?

Better. He's a Jagen with stupidly good growths for a promoted unit.

Wow. After all these years of never raising him I find this out

He is arguably the best non-avatar unit in the entire series.

  • I think I'll have to say :

    "Pick a god and pray!"

Haha, Frederick is my answer as well! I actually had to force myself to stop using him for a while because he's so broken compared to most other units lol

Finishing up my first lunatic play-through of awakening and I’m 4 second seals deep haha.

Dude is an absolute tank among tanks.

  • Pick any dread fighter in Shadows of Valentia, but I'll name Kamui since I usually give him a blessed sword

  • Lysithea because her magic damage can get real silly

Lysithea's spells are also great. She's by far my favorite 3h character to use, though Raphael can be really funny too.

nothing quite like a 5 attack range delete button

  • Nephenee.

If you need a cart ride to the airport at 2 AM Nephenee's got your back.

  • Sort of asking fave gameplaywise then that would be Camilla. First malig knight. Really loved using axes and tomes with flight . She's also a cool char

  • Joshua, Soren, Nephenee, any Tellius swordsman. They’re all so fun

  • The angel of death Jaffar. As a kid meeting the first assassin type in fe7 was so much fun. Watching silencer proc made the game so memorable. To this day 20ish years later I still run an assassin because of him. Learning his backstory after a playthrough growing up made it even cooler.

    Tldr assassin go brrr

I remember how awesome it was the first time I discovered you can recruit Jaffar. Part nostalgia but FE7 is still my favorite Fire Emblem game. I miss being able to recruit random green units.

Great choice, especially after spending several chapters fearing having to fight him, you get to recruit him instead!!!

  • I will always make use of Bernadetta, no matter what route I take

  • I'm always excited to play as Sanaki in Radiant Dawn like I get to watch this tiny girl in a giant flappy cape run around throwing giant balls of fire at people.

I also love pumping Sothe full of as many skills as he can take and watching him proc Adept like 3 times against a red dragon until he can get Bane off

  • Boyd all the way! Particularly in RD

boyd is so fuckin sick. no defense? who gives a fuck i have all the hp ever invented and i’ll chop you in half in one go

Rinkah in Fates is my 2nd fav

An axe fighter that can (in theory) double?! Sign me up!

Oscar and Boyd are my favs

  • Petra, Marianne, Constance. My three beloved.

  • Gilliam. He can take anything.

    Favorite Knight character

  • The "villager" character. Sometimes we call em Donnel, sometimes Jean, sometimes Ross. I have a soft spot for the "just some guy/gal" archetype and they're often among my favorite characters in whatever FE I'm playing. Also the early game archer is often a staple in my superstar squad with Etie and Virion making particularly strong impressions on me.

  • Ingrid has never disappointed me

My most used 3H unit. I dig a dark flier build for her the most.

  • Ross! Beserker, hero, warrior, doesn’t matter. Dude is an absolute tank

  • Uh probably Wyvern Elise + Nostank Odin since they’re a really satisfying combo to use.

  • There's always one character in each fire emblem game that I adore for one reason or another. If I had to pick one I'd probably say Gaius from Awakening. Though I also love Rosado from engage

  • Fire emblem PoR - Boyd (I just started today lol)

    Three houses- Sylvain!!!

    Engage- Mauvier for sure

    Awakening- Tharja

  • Matthew. I love turning him into an assassin.

  • For me;

Soren in PoR and Rd. He’s the best mage by far in both games, an absolute beast in PoR. Crazy spd, mag and crazy like avoidance with Ike’s A support. In rd, he's pretty much my preferred staff unit (Why do you hate mages so much Rd!!!!)

Tine in Genealogy of the holy war. I go out of my way to give her as much favouritism as I can. Her lack of follow ups and not being able to use Thoron is annoying but favourite character deserves favouritism.

Fodlan, I think I always use Dorothea and Marianne. They’re pretty much in my squad always regardless of what route I’m playing.

Awakening - Does Lucina count? Always use her, I absolutely love her.

Blazing blade - Heath! He’s bad, but I always use him.

Fe 11/12 - Caeda and Julian.

Saber in echoed but pretty much everyone does, he’s insane.

Heath! He’s bad, but I always use him.

How's he bad? Instant-Promoted Heath can last the whole game.

  • Seteth just because of his critical quotes

    "Judgement is passed!"

I will up you with Ignatz's "let me paint you a picture!"

  • Soren in path of radiance. He starts off slow but by the end he's soloing so many units

  • Nina from fates is my favorite character of any fire emblem

But I admit leonie is probably the most fun unit

  • In terms of unit feel, Lewyn!Arthur in FE4 is a blast to use once he’s promoted. FE4 does have its juggernauts but not all of them ORKO at 2 range quite like he does, and it’s nice that he can solo side objectives with ease.

Honestly, I’d say any unit that sees a massive uptick in production after promoting/hitting a certain weapon rank/gaining a skill applies. A lot of the fates units feel awesome to use once creative builds come online.

  • Nowi. Always wanted to go ham with a dragon in my army but was prevented by dragonstone shortage, Nowi doesn't have that problem.

  • Knoll - Summoners are awesome.

  • I've only played Three Houses (4 times) and just finished Awakening. If you don't count Chrom and the 3 class leaders from TH, I would go with Bernadetta. I'm no master at builds, but she seems to have 3 or 4 amazing builds for maddening mode. If not for her I could have never cleared the first few maps of Maddening.

Low health Lance is fun as is Sniper or Bow Knight.

Shout out to Hubert. He's another one that can save you in a pinch. In early Maddening mode I had an issue of 2 or 3 units always being subpar due to just changing classes. Hubert seemed to always be great no matter what or how into his current class he was. I don't love him as a Death Knight but any magic class is fun

  • Tina. Can steal items from infinite range with a ~30% chance to miss (optimal).

  • Aran, Radiant Dawn. I love the black armor with the Wishblade late game as a Sentinel he looks so damn cool.

I want to like Aran more, but Neph is just too good.

Now hear me out, I’m gonna play devils advocate here and this doesn’t represent my opinion on LTC Maniac runs or other challenges. Aran will almost always reliably cap defense, strength, and skill. He will likely have them capped at level 18 or maybe 19 which all but guarantees you to patch his speed up a little with the remaining level or 2 with Bexp. Going into halberdier he will likely have those 3 capped by level 10 I’d say. That can guarantee you 10 points of speed effectively nullifying his Achilles. Now obviously we know you can do this with any character in RD so why shitty old Aran? In my runs since I make a point to do this because I love him for no reason in particular he almost always ends up being intensely valuable to hold points against the full scale armies of super hard hitting generals and tigers that the Dawn Brigade chapters throw your way. He and Tauroneo are a Steel wall against these threats. I find Arans Defense so infinitely valuable in the chapters he is available for.

I don’t disagree: he has his moments to shine for sure. I just happen to value Nolan and Edward more in terms of DB. I just don’t see myself taking Alan to endgame and I’m almost always taking Neph to endgame. Brom - in my experience - was so much better in RD than PoE and they make a great support pair. Theres a chance I take Brom into endgame in my current maniac run. He exploded for me lol.

  • Gonzales once he promotes. He will either miss or brutally delete someone, there's no in-between

  • Hmmm Sera and Erk are favourites of mine. Always use Ashe in 3 houses. Illyana over Soren every playthrough in POR.

  • Shadow Dragon - Abel/Palla

    New Mystery - Cecil/Katarina

    Valentia - Mae

    Genealogy - Lex and Larcei

    Thracia - Karin

    Binding - Shanna

    Blazing - Rebecca

    Sacred - L'arachel

    Path of Radiance - Marcia

    Radiant Dawn - Marcia

    Awakening - Cynthia

    Fates - Sakura

    3H - Annette

    Engage - Lapis

  • Timerra. I love playing around with her builds to either proc sandstorm more often or turn her into a literal physical wall and have sandstorm proc for more damage. It helps her crit animation is so good too!

  • Panette and her 100% Crit

  • Any and all versions of Tiki.

    Panette is pretty fun, too.

  • The Calill-Rhys-Volke triangle in PoR. Calill is the only good mage in PoR and she's so easy to use thanks to her phenomenal bases and her great weapon ranks. Rhys' existence helps her a lot since he can use Silence, which lets him unequip enemy siege tome users so Volke can steal them. Not to mention Volke can also steal enemy Silence and Sleep staves.

    Omg I didn't know that, that's sick!

You can do that with Soren and much better lol. Won’t even need Rhys, Soren can use staves unlike Calill and destroy units and didn’t get doubled by everything that moves.

Personally, Mist is a way better Investment than Rhys.

Soren requires 20 levels or a Master Seal to get E staves, which is a terrible investment if you don't like the character. Plus Calill has very similar stats to a trained Soren without having to train him and can use all three anima siege tomes at base whereas Soren can just use Blizzard, the worst of the three. Rhys has similar Mag to Soren except raising his staff rank is both better at base (D rank in Ch2 vs unable to use them until promoting) and significantly easier to raise (Rhys just attacking enemies once promoted raises his staff rank since his weapon rank and staff rank are the same plus he can raise his staff rank with arms scrolls). You're not talking about Soren since he's trash, you're talking about Artur from FE8 who's better than Soren can ever hope to be.

Also we're just lying now, great. Calill has base 18 Spd and 8 Str, so she doubles just fine and takes a max -5 Spd penalty from Bolting, the heaviest siege tome, at base. She never gets doubled by everything and her base 19 Mag is great so she can also destroy things.

Soren requires 20 levels to get E staves, which is a terrible investment if you don't like the character.

Not really, start using staff as soon as he promotes and he’s using physics by the time you actually reach siege tomes and status staffs.

Plus Calill has very similar stats to a trained Soren without having to train him and can use all three anima siege tomes at base whereas Soren can just use Blizzard, the worst of the three

It’s very easy to get Soren’s thunder rank up and you get a million arms scrolls in PoR and most of the time they’re useless, I basically get all three magic types up and with minimum problem. (I tend to focus on thunder and Wind though)

Now thats just straight up lying. Soren has basically the same magic as Rhys, can get his staff rank up very easily and he’s a magic user and a healer that doesn’t get doubled by every enemy you encounter but can adept vantage them out of existence, can use seige tomes and even double seige tomes with Adept lmao. How is he trash?

Also we're just lying now, great. Calill has base 18 Spd and 8 Str, so she doubles just fine and takes a max -5 Spd penalty from Bolting, the heaviest siege tome, at base. She never gets doubled by everything and her base 19 Mag is great so she can also destroy things.

I was talking about Rhys, sorry for the confusion. But Soren does tend to surpass Calill’s bases, although I love Callil and use her pretty much everytime. She and Soren are my mages of choice.

It does require some tight movement and planning out what you're doing, plus the status staves show up pretty late (Without a King is the chapter where you can get a ton of Sleep staves), but it's really fun if you manage to do it.

And heads up, don't fall for the Soren propagandists saying "he can do this too" because he can't. Soren (and Ilyana as a matter of fact) cannot do this without a ton of investment since the necessary staves are B rank and he takes a while to get C rank. Plus, Blizzard is the least common siege tome in the game so Soren can't milk this strategy as well as Ilyana (Bolting is more common) or Calill (she can use all of them) can.

calill being the only good mage in PoR is an insane take. no availability, no staves.

Soren is garbage since his bases are disgustingly low, his base level is extremely low, and his weapon ranks are terrible. After training him what do you get? E staves. This is a grift and a joke unit. Ilyana is slightly better since she starts at lv6 and has base D thunder, the best of the three tomes, but she's not great either.

Calill is good because her weapon ranks are great in a game where building weapon rank is extremely slow, her bases are great, and she requires no investment. Using her means you get a lot of bang for very little buck. Yeah, her availability is bad, and that's not excusable, but the fact that Calill is the best despite that is a testament to how terrible the unpromoted mages are.

my soren and ilya a i had to stop using because they were killing everything. idc what the base stats or ranks are if they’re just murdering everything in site.

calill can do everything soren and illyana can do without investment. that's an important factor to consider when comparing units to others. yes, the unpromoted mages can stomp fe9 with investment, but so can every other unit. fe9 has very low enemy quality, especially on normal mode, so if a unit can meet stat benchmarks without requiring exp, that counts in their favor

sure yeah at chapter fucking 15 or whenever she shows up. i like using mages early. and sorens magic stat is so high that he only needs a heal staff to fully heal just about anyone usually

  • Beruka.

    Self repairing crit machine.

  • Seth or FE1 Caeda.

I don't see why does this have to be excluding the protagonists tbh at least in my view none of the lords are particularlly fun units excluding the house leaders and fe1 marth

  • Alcryst. I love his animations so damn much.

  • Rutger raising his critical chance to truly obscene numbers never gets old. Yunaka is great too. And any armored knight whose defense is high enough for them to just become an impassable wall is always fun.

All this said, it's Merlinus. Nothing is funnier than exploiting his immunity to permadeath (and his cracked stats in 7) to just lure enemies anywhere you want (and watch them all fail utterly at hitting an unarmed wagon, if it's 7)

  • Amelia or Kaze.

  • Mmmm from the ones I played i always find myself using Florina Mia Zihark but my favorite recent unit is Yuna from engage always find I want to leave Lyn ring on her

  • Any of all time?? None. It depends on which Fe game Playing but I like using Colm, Azelle, Roshea, Barst, and Ewan.

  • Tina. I probably Repaired the Thief staff 2 or 3 times because it was so funny to yoink everything from Ballistas to random personal weapons from across the map

  • Nowi has a great unit feel with her 1-2 range starting weapon, quick level ups, and being able to reclass to a promoted class at lv 30. Clanne was crazy for me i  Engage and I got a kick out of using him as well. Palla (and by extension every fe2 pegasus knight) is an absolute power house and saves your ass in Gaiden countless times.

  • Recruitable enemy myrmidion every time. Give me Rutger, Guy, Lon’qu. Bring the archetype back

Pretty sure Lon'qu joins automatically after the Arena chapter (8?) In Awakeking. Aside from that, I dont disagree.

  • Joshua my boy! He takes the gold and Cormag and Haar can fight for two and three

  • Funnily enough it's sword masters, depsite their class not being great. We have Mareeta, Rutger, Joshua, Lyn (although not technically swordmaster but close enough). One of those will do. Probably Mareeta realistically, just because she gets so.much good stuff for no real reason, other than holy blood. Astra, brave prf with nihil, vantage... And I think she has like FCM 4 or 5??

  • I've never had a bad Ferdie.

  • I love using Petra, but if she gets bad RNG then Felix is also great. Just really fun to use, and characters I hate benching. Leonie and Sylvain also grew on me, and I love rolling through maps with them.

Ophelia is really fun to build, and she’s rarely done me wrong. I also love making Azura viable in battle as well.

Sully, Kjelle, Severa, and Noire with good skills are super fun, and I have a soft spot for these characters.

I need to replay Echoes, but I know for a fact I LOVED using Saber, Silque, Zeke, Mae, and Conrad.

  • Faye and Zeke have always been extremely good in my SoV playthroughs, even when I reclassed Zeke into a Dread Fighter and made Faye a Mage instead of the usual Cleric (with her being the only unit who gets Anew, the dance Equivalent for that game). For some reason Faye was always absolutely CRACKED in the attack department. Always bring them both to End game and then Thabes After that.

  • Isabella is an uncommon choice from fe7 but I really enjoy her character.

Her relationship to duty, her bittersweet engagement with Harken... she's easily forgettable by the stage you get her in 7 but she's a great character.

I like units that present interesting decisions without being overpowered. As one of the less good cavalry in fe7, Isabella is in a great spot in that regard--her combat is only ok, so should I use her as a rescue machine? Just a versatile underappreciated unit that I really like.

  • Rutger, Felix or Kagetsu!

  • i will always go out of my way to give Owain gale force + counter with the Lissa-Vaike combo and just watch

  • Marcia in both games. She brightens my life and slays my foes.

  • Insane take. Peri is really fun to play around

  • FE11 Jake and Beck. Devs underestimated how broken ballistas were, they literally had to take them away from us in FE12

Honorable mention: Xane. Because he can turn into a third ballistician.

  • I’m on ch 21 of Engage right now and I’m loving Loius, combined with Ike, he’s untouchable.

  • Serena

I love Heroes, and any sword user, until Serena swordmasters were my favorite.

  • Canas in blazing blade!

  • I am Felix Hugo Fraldarius, and I ain’t need no other units, thank you.

  • Yuri of Fe3H is so fun to use with his hero relic.

  • Sakura, every time I play Rev I like to try a different class with her (right now, I’m doing a dark Falcon run) and she ends up amazing every time, always a mainstay.

  • HD coat Edward from Radiant Dawn. If you know you know. If you don't, well you're missing out.

  • Pannette in Engage. Funny crit woman

  • Basically any dragon but especially Fae in FE6

  • Marcia in FE9 and Charlotte in FE Fates: Conquest

  • You will pry Azama out of cold dead hands. He's so tanky, even in Rev. I'd kill to have Azama in Conquest lowkey.

  • Echoes Delthea

  • Tana, Hana

  • Odin and Ophelia

  • Felix. He’s always been great for me no matter if physical or magical.

  • My dark mage/dark knight Sylvain 💙💙

  • I like bowzu in conquest

  • BERNIE BEAR SUPREMACY.

  • Lorenz in three houses and three hopes.

It's just satisfying to create a hybrid magic/physical unit

Louis in Engage. Always love a tanky badass! Engage really made armored knight to be more flexible.

  • Soren, Sylvain, Donnel, Felix, and Lon qu.

  • Hilda! Hilda!

  • Hana.

Even with how spotty dodge tanking was in fates absolutely nothing could etand up to her

Also for the first year of heroes, she was my go to for getting rid anything i didnt want to look at anymore except for effie.

  • Mozu in Fates. She makes for one of the best snipers

  • My daughter, Morgan. The little gremlin is a terror, and I love her for it.

  • Lucina. She is my favorite fire emblem character.

  • Hawkeye. Pre promoted berserker with a unique sprite and animations? Yes please

  • Takumi in fates.

I don’t know anything about this guy except that if he’s in the party, everything that attacks me is dying.

  • Olwen in Thracia is always a joy to make into a killing machine.

Shinon in Radiant Dawn is a 3 ranged nuclear warhead.

And Morgan in Awakening is my beautiful daughter who happily carried everyone's ass on my first Awakening playthrough some months back.

  • Seth the Carry

  • Edelgard, Raging Storm go brrr

  • Valbar in Shadows of Valentia was the tank

Dude would hold the front line with all the enemies on the final map and it was epic

  • Soren from FE Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn has always been my favorite. He was always my main mage. Didn't like how they started feminizing him in FE Heroes, but his dialogues in Engage made up for it.
Arthur from FE Conquest was also fantastic too. Whoever did his English voice absolutely nailed it.

  • Saber with Brave Sword is chefs kiss

  • Say'ri still hasn't let me down in my Awakening playthroughs. I love my swordmaster units

  • Edward. If he gets to trueblade he’s a speed crit king and honestly it’s so rewarding to train someone from tier 1 to tier 3 especially when they excel after

  • Every sword master

  • Florina from FE7 , never had a playthrough without her , I like Pegasus riders but her , she has never failed me , an instant pick each time

  • FE7 - Bartre FE8 - Gilliam FE11 - Cord Conquest - Niles Birthright, Rev - Rinkah Echoes - Forsyth

  • Geitz in Blazing Blade, one of my favorite units in all of Fire Emblem.

    Also Lot from Binding Blade.

  • Mauvier. He one shots every enemy with one crit hit (except for great knights and generals needs someone to debuff them with draconic hex) and tanks every hit.

  • Genny in Echoes. She can heal from anywhere on the map, she can summon extra dummy soldiers, she can heal herself pretty consistently with nosferatu, she gets expel which kills undead in a radius instantly, and she gets seraphim to do insane damage to them otherwise. And in echoes, giving anyone a shield makes them a tank, even a healer. I think she’s a contender for one of the best units in the series.

She also has a really cute design with the pinks, the fluffy hair, and the robes that look like pajamas. And while not a lot of writing, I like that she looks up to Sonia- it feels like she’ll grow up to be someone a little more confident like her.

  • honestly any armor knight, but mainly Oswin. I love power leveling them early on and having them be an absolute beast for the midgame

  • Tharja. My first goth love “awakening”. (Ba dum tsss)

  • Ayra and Larcei are really awesome. When they use Astra with their Brave Sword, they'll attack 10 times in a row. It's especially fun against the tankier bosses.

  • Alcryst in engage Luna critting a 4x2 into a kill on a maddening armor unit.

  • Kaze in fates, he’s the quintessential ninja for me. Saizo or Kagero might be stronger units but my boy Kaze came out swinging in all three routes

    1. Jakob & Felicia. Their unique traits of being low internal level but promoted to grab high level skills, and even passing those skills to their kids is literally endless in possibility.

    2. Morgan in Awakening Lunatic with no second seals is the unit in that challenge that has the most varied directions they can be taken in(in this particular challenge they even have more varierty than Robin, who starts out a combat unit and by endgame becomes a rally spectrum bot) , and many of them can be your carry unit while still feeling nontypical of what type of carries you use in that game.

    3. Dieck, Gerik, Raven are the quintessential Oghma experience, and as such they are usually the reason why I replay the GBA games.

    4. I am also a sucker for units that synergize, like Hilda+Sylvains personals or the Nolan/Zihark dual earth support.

  • Cordelia in Awakening.

Not only can she be broken with the best abilities in the game, but she was my first S Rank in that game.

  • Lewyn and Ced in Genealogy.

    Forseti go brrrrrrrr

  • Rebecca and Nino fe7, my little green haired menaces

  • It's always Joshua. I've never played sacred stones without Joshua and Geriks Gay Support.

  • Milady (FE6) because she's an angel of death. If an enemy sees her, he is dead.

Raven (FE7) because he is a complete fighting unit and Heroes are cool.

Gerik (FE8) because he is a Raven with steroids and fun personality. Seriously, he is a juggernaut.

Nephenee (FE9) with Wrath and Vantage, it's good to see everyone trying to touch her but dieing instead.

  • Camilla and Ivy, I always love using both these purple haired older sisters, either to steam roll the game with how crazy strong they are or using more wacky builds for them like Sorcerer Camilla or using Ike to make Ivy super tanky 💜

  • Tharja

    Nosferatu go brr haha

  • Matthew in FE7. One of my favorites over all.

  • Any GBA Knight/General, they look so fucking badass.

  • I really love lysithea, first time I played 3h I could never kill the death night til I saw something on this sub on how she nukes him with ease

  • Awakening - Severa cause she cute and lethal; Fe7 Lyn unique crit animation; Fe3h Petra, Hilda, Ingrid for each house; SoV Delthea, Est my glass cannons

  • For each Game I’ve played: Genealogy of the Holy War - Lewin Binding Blade - Elen Blazing Blade - Erk Sacred Stones - Seth Path of Radiance - Soren and Rhys Radiant Dawn - Haar, my beloved Awakening - Panne Fates - Niles Shadows of Valentia - Boey Three Houses - Petra, Felix, and Lysithea Engage - Kagetsu

  • Haar with urvan in RD. Automatic killing machine

  • Nephenee is a character I will use come hell and bad growths. I love her

  • Lysithea is an easy answer for me, especially late game when you can hit enemies that are like 5 tiles away.

For an answer that isn't going to be common, then Natasha from Sacred Stones. (Well, Sacred Stones Reforged to be exact.) While usually used as a healer, she still manages to hit hard with the either of the Light tomes she currently has equipped. (Divine - which was given a Darting Blow like effect - and Luce - a new tome that has a Duelist's Blow like effect.)

  • Matilda from Echoes.

  • Dimitri in 3 houses. The shear power he always accumulates in my runs. He’s basically a one man army for me

Guy who doesn't read the title before replying

    The protagonist is Byleth no?

  • Hortensia so far honestly. I'm a sucker for tragic heroines who smile through their constant suffering.

  • Soren!!!!!!! An absolute legend of a unit. He’s so good in PoR it’s not even funny.

The best mage in game and a solid endgame soak.

  • Lythesia in FE Three Houses.

Literally hard carried me through my Maddening New Game run. Why did they give this unit a 60% magic growth, dark spikes, luna, and warp? I dunno but they made a tiny angry God who likes sweets.

Also her supports with Linhart are really nice. Small angry child nuke actually gets a chance to grow up and be a normal aged nuke. That's nice.
