We've had a pesky fox show up in our neighborhood recently, and due to the color of it's fur, My sister decided to name it after Ferdinand as a joke not thinking much about it. However, Ferdinand has taken an extreme liking to our neighborhood, (or rather, disliking) and now he terrorizes it's residents. Every time we take our new golden creme puppy out to play, Ferdinand begins to reappear, and we have to scoop up our puppy and bring him back inside, while Ferdinand wreaks havoc across our yard. Similarly Ferdinand also pays visits to my neighbors yard, and tries to pick fights with their large dog despite being half its size. I'm unsure what he wants, but now every time he appears, instead of people yelling out for a fox, they yell out for Ferdinand because now his noble name has become a neighborhood staple. ðŸ˜
I have nothing helpful to add, but I love this story.
glad you liked it lol, as crazy as he is, I have to say he's a very entertaining fox
Finally, my art skill, love for foxes, and fire emblem unite to form... This.

He's transparent, have fun making him a sticker in your chat service of choice.Â
Oh my god, thank you so much for this! It's absolutely gorgeous, this just made my day! :) I'm sure everybody I know is going to get a kick out of it lol
You're most welcome! Thanks for making everyone's day here more fun, and good luck with Ferdinand! XDÂ
Once you're named Ferdinand Von Aegir, you have to stay in the public eye so your fame will grow.
True, true, but all of his chaotic stunts are making me Ferdinand Von Tired
This is the cost of war
Try to get a picture of this most noble gentleman
I actually do have a photo of him that someone else took, if there's a way for me to attach pictures in a comment I'll definitely upload it!
Different franchise, but I once names a local stray cat "Noah" (like Noah from Xenoblade Chronicles 3). A neighbor named Noah who I had never talked to was extremely confused and asked me why I kept yelling for Noah, and I had to sheepishly explain that I named the stray.
My advice is do not name feral animals biblical human names....
Here is a picture of "Noah" (who was actually a girl so I called her Mio)
Edit: clarification
Mio looks like she has found where she belongs.
Pfft. She has, thank you! She screams at me to pet her. I love her!
Awww she's playing her flute
