Is being a femboy sexual? ive thought about this the whole 2 years of me being a femboy. It feels as though it is. I cant talk about it with some sort of sex or gay, straight talk. I dont know if its just me but i seem to be sexualized even when im not doing anything to encourage it. Please tell me what you guys think.
If being emo or a tomboy isn't sexual then being a femboy isn't aswell.

It's femininity. That's the reason. Femininity will always be sexualized, women deal with this too.
And also because the majority of femboy content is sexual? When you look up the term "femboy" anywhere, your first results will always be sexual or suggestive in some form.
It's not inherently, but most content and interactions within the community happen to be. Most of what we think when it comes to the term "femboy" came from places like 4chan message boards and anime memes/artwork, so the online community as we know it today was built from sexual connotations, especially from the weirder parts of some anime communities. It's also worth noting that like 60% (probably over exaggerated but still a noteworthy majority) of the people lingering in femboy spaces aren't actually femboys and are just chasers/fetishists, they're the reason why standards are so crazy and unrealistic in the community as well ðŸ˜

I think 'femboy' is a form of gender expression, and as such is not related to attraction but moreso to expression of gendered behaviors. Those behaviors have no implicit sexuality, but ofc you will see a sexual side to it. Femboy is ultimately feminine boys, which is just a type of gender expression of people who identify as men practicing gender in a more feminine or i'd argue androgynous way than is usual for western men. People who objectify others based on their sexual appeal seem very aimless and shallow imo, sure porn is porn but people want love too mhm.
its about as sexual as being a woman: i.e its not. but people like to sexualize it anyway because the world is full of creeps.
I get the same thing for being goth. and yes, it CAN be sexual. and you are not wrong if there are some sexual aspects of it you enjoy- but there is no rule saying you have to live like that 100% of the time. its as multifaceted as you want it to be.
