Okay so story time😭I just got out of a store to buy some christmas gifts, and some random guy walks up to me and asks "Excuse me, are you transgendrr?" Like what?? Just out on the street, completely random. And listen, I know I dont exactly scream "man", I have a pretty fem demeanour, figure etc with long hair and nailpolish. But I have never been asked if I was trans like what😭Anyways, I said no and he just left?? I have NO idea what that was about,but apparently Im so fem that ppl think Im either mtf or a woman in general. I wasnt even wearing make up or fem clothes😭Bizzare experience all in all
Depends how they ask. I’m a bit older and I tend to ignore people who are aggressive or unkind. If they pester, walk away or find someone that looks safe to be around. If they are just curious (which is more often the case) just be open and honest but don’t reveal anything personal. Spread the love ❤️

So I looked him dead in the eyes and used the deepest voice I could use and said "that's why I walked in", to be fair I do have longer hair, but I keep it back like a sorta mullet, I feel ur pain brotha

I am pre-t transmasc and have short hair, and whenever I don't wear femme stuff, women in the bathroom look at me weird. Had one woman step out, check the door sign before coming back in 🫠 I said hello, and since I'm pre-t, it still sounds very femme, so she was like, "Oh ok". It can be weird how people assume/react to gender expression.
I am gay and also don't want to make anyone uncomfortable by going into the men's bathroom and it also doesn't always feel safe. I'm not doing anything weird, I just wanna go to the toilet in peace ;;
But yeah, that aside: I don't think he had any malicious intent, people just have a habit of minding other people's business lmao

Honestly, if you ever feel like someone's stepping too close, just walk away or tell them to piss off lmao. I have a resting bitch face and I just look at with the most annoyed glare I can muster and they usually scram
