• Rico for those 2 magical weeks

I thought he was going to be a league winner and felt so smart/lucky grabbing him in 4 leagues.

Then took me 4 weeks before I finally woke up and benched him but the damage had already been done.

    I picked him up.

I made it to the playoffs.

    I won.

Rico = league winner to many.

Agreed. He picked me up and got me some critical wins when I was 3-7 to get me to the playoffs. Thankfully I dropped him before the crucial last few games and other waiver wire adds got me the big W.

League winner doesn't need to score big in the final two games specifically, just score way more than their ADP says they should have, at crucial times.

I picked him up for those 2 weeks and was able to trade him for Bucky. I already had Rashad White too so that was a low risk-high reward deal for me

Bucky didn't really do much either. šŸ¤·šŸ¼

  • How is Brissett not getting any love? Got nearly half a season of great play out of him before switching to TLaw for the finals.

Right?? I had Indiana Jones but switched to Jacoby when he started to slow down. I grabbed Jacoby and Wilson around the same time and I won the championship.

Maaaan. 2nd last week I dropped Purdy for brisset as he had a higher floor. And wouldn't you know, that was the first week brisset got under 20 points... That and putting in Dowdle over chase brown, because I figured that the Bengals were playing a meaningless game... Cost me the entire league. I ended with 3rd

    Michael Wilson too.

I ended the season with him and Malik Willis. Won the lot against Hurts and Shough (2qb league)

Brisset's guaranteed 24pts per week, largely in garbage time, saved my season.

  • Jason Myers. Dude was basically my FLEX2 for a bulk of the season and was the 19th ranked preseason kicker.

Killed us in the semis. Crazy because I dropped stafford and kept myers right before the game. I figured no d Adams and that Seattle D, he only scored 13 ftp against earlier @ home, he would struggle.

As a seahawks fan I knew not to start him that game

  • Michael ā€œMichael Wilsonā€ Wilson

    Michael "Jerry Rice" Wilson

Michael ā€œneeds MHJ to be hurtā€ Wilson

I'm feeling like it might be the other way around

Did Michael Wilson do anything in the games that MHJ played?

Once Michael Wilson took over after MH was out they basically never played together enough to say. Wilson was definitely more productive though. And PFF ranked him 28 vs 54 or something for MH. So I'm not so sure Wilson isn't the alpha at this point.

With this logic, MHJ barely played with Brissett

When Kyler played, cardinals weirdly had a lot of leads in games which led to way less passing

With Brissett, the cardinals got behind massively and had to throw it like 40 times a game

The few games that MHJ and Wilson both played together with Brissett had MHJ dominate targets over Wilson

  • Kinda surprised Christian Watson didn’t make the list. I grabbed him as an IR stash and he helped me through the end of the season.

bro had 2 good games deep in the season when playoffs were set

3W for me Wilson Washington Watson

Came to say this too. His championship game was particularly helpful

  • Michael Wilson for me and Vidal also.

  • I had to get so many of these just to offset my ridiculously bad draft lol

  • For me Brock Purdy and the Saints defense for the playoffs weeks 16 and 17.

That Saints defense against the Jets was a lifesaver

Agreed. Brock purdy + the saints won me the chip. They were so clutch in the fantasy playoffs

  • Picked up Drake Maye week 3 after losing burrow and it won me the championship

good ol 4 man leagues rule

I did the same in a 10 man keeper league soooo

  • Wan’Dale Robinson

Wan’Dale came through in week 17 for sure!

  • People jumped on the wagon too late, but I got Parkinson weeks before and he was keeping me alive.

  • Surprised nobody in here is saying Stafford. Nobody in my league took him bc of the back problems, I snagged him off waivers after trading Josh Allen for JSN and QJ week 4 😭

Agree here, picked him up after Murray was doing his mediocre thing.Ā

Stafford somehow landed on the waiver wire right when Herbert had the hand issue, picked him up and then stupidly benched him right before the Seattle game in the semis.

So did I don’t worry, I snuck out to the championship with 3 injuries on my team too

Unfortunately, after scoring the most points all season, my team couldn’t pull it off. Had Josh Jacobs as my rb2 & t Henderson in flex drop under 5 combined, myers who had been huge for me only got me 2. Had R Rice out as well….Picked up b young and Coker hoping for a miracle.

I drafted Hurts but picked up Stafford after week 4 and won with him. The week 16 Puka/Stafford stack was playoff magic.

  • TLaw given that my team had Jones and Mayfield originally

this was my exact qb scenario this season! had j.love for one game before i picked up trevor. i got to enjoy that 45 point game he put up. absolutely brilliant display of a qb this second half of the season!

Got me my championship - he was amazing the second half

League size is the wildcard but I also won two leagues with TLaw off of waivers

  • Malik Willis for the playoffs! šŸ”„

  • Jauan Jennings deserves a mention

Came through huge for me down the stretch and I had Purdy. Was really surprised someone waived him when he was banged up but I stashed him until MHJ went down for good. He went from a good flex option to my wr2 at the end

  • Oronde Gadsden was great, and even better if you were able to pick him up in week 4 and trade him away before the deadline

I picked him up and was able to trade him and Jordan Mason for a struggling Courtland Sutton. Sutton helped me win the ship

  • Matthew Stafford and micheal Wilson .

  • Drake Maye, after the draft and before the season started.

  • Literally the only guy I picked up and started was Fanin. Dude is a cheat code.

  • I somehow got Pitts for my first playoff game. Without him I had no chance. With him I won it all.

  • Purdy. He was out most of the season and people dropped him, but when playoffs started he was a top fantasy QB for 3 straight weeks of playoffs.

  • I'd take a season off snowboarding to give Skattebo my knee(s). I won it still in his name "Miss my Boo" but damned if he wasn't my favorite player to watch for those few weeks after I grabbed him off waivers.

  • Gadsden among Shultz, HHenry rotation for a while…dumped Gadsden when Jags dismantled Chargers and their season went downhill from there. Gainwell as a Warren cuff, then he started going off on my bench. but much better…got Maye off waivers and rode the bench first half of season since I had Mahomes. He goes downhill and caused me to miss championship with that low 15 pt game…benched him then ends up injured anyway. rode Maye plugged in for 3rd place finish.

  • Christian Watson. I would have won the championship if I started him championship week, but he got me to that game.

  • Emmanuel Wilson for 1 game

  • Of my starting lineup that won the ship, 4 were FAs/Waiver Wire pickups. So shout-out to T Law, Pitts, Wandale, and PIT defense. And I wouldn't have gotten there if not for Kimani Vidal keeping me afloat after Skattebo went down and I waited for RJ Harvey to come of age.

  • I got most of these guys as stashes before they blew up and had to drop them to clear space. If I held onto Lawrence I would have won my league.

  • Got Dak & Stafford. Trevyon honorable mention. Not really the same but I had Swift on waivers after the slow start & only pulled him back at the last second because my injuries were so bad. He was very solid if not spectacular, & sometimes popped off.

  • The Brissett/Wilson stack I picked up in a couple leagues was nice

  • Drake Maye, Rico, and Michael Wilson took me from last place to 4th place finish.

  • Daniel Jones to start the season.
Harold Fannon middle and end of the season. Jacoby and Wilson for the end of the season.

  • Everyone sleeping on Wandale

  • Woody Marks and Kyle Monangai were huge helps when I lost Conner and Ekeler. Stafford was also a huge pick-up. So much so, that I sat Jalen Hurts down the stretch. I do think the best WW addition this year has to be Michael Wilson though.

  • T Henderson, skatt, m Wilson, vidal, rj Harvey, watson had a good stretch. There was no puka pickup this year.

  • The rotation of kickers streamed due to injuries and the weather was my biggest help. I think they’re underrated by those not paying attention, especially with poor QB performance last year.

  • Fairbairn. #2 kicker in total scoring but #1 in avg pts per game and that's with missing a game.

  • Stafford was the best WW claim. He scored the most points. m u

  • I actually drafted Skateboo super late but I feel like if he didn’t get injured he would have ended up being a top waiver wire pick. That first game vs the eagles was insane. Could not believe what I was watching. I ended up winning my league bc I also had Fannin and the giants defense saved my season

  • Woody Marks and RJ Harvey for me
