I ask because I have been researching mediums like Leslie Flint and others and some off the seances are mind blowing. Unless it's an intricate hoax or a sprit posing as a loved one then I think it kina shows that these souls don't reincarnate and just want to hang around in the astral. I've heard some mediums claim they've spoken to Roman Centurions and other figures from the ancient past. If this is true then why haven't they reincarnated if this is a prison planet? Do you guys think after death communication proves this isn't a prison panet? I've never heard any of these souls mention reincarnating back here unless I'm missing something. What do you guys think?

This is one of the biggest arguments against it all. There is no shortage of “ghosts” walking around and communicating with people. The main issue with these souls seems to be an attachment to their identities, land, addictions, heavy emotional states, etc. There is a fantastic book - The Spirits Book by Allan Kardec - that has just been recently updated - it was written way back in the 1850’s (well before the new spiritualist movement that started during the Industrial Revolution in London) and a scientist went to many mediums asking them the same questions and surprisingly got the same answers - that mediums today get and also people who experience NDE’s. What’s fascinating here is that Westerners assume that the recording of NDE’s only started with the research in the 1970’s. This actually helps refute quite a lot of the lore that fear based influencers keep peddling. The person that updated the book is NDE researcher Shaman Oaks. Here’s a video about it.

OBE would also be a case against. If you can freely have an experience outside of this local reality, then it’s not a prison.
while I don't believe the prison planet nonsense a common feature of recalled death experiences is that time doesn't exist there so someone could reincarnate but you could still hypothetically contact them

I’d say it’s definitely an interesting question. But, as Shakespeare said, there are more things in Heaven and Earth than are dreamt of in our philosophy. Who the eff knows. In other words, yes, this would seem to place holes in the prison planet theory from our three dimensional (practical?) understanding, but again…who the eff knows.

If this is a prison planet, then its a choice by the entity/person through lack of knowing they are dead and can move on a a strong emotional link that they have not been able to break for what ever reason. Bob Monroe mentioned that many entities get addicted to the human experience and what appears to be a ghost trapped is just a transient phase until they realise it and move on - maybe thats why we don't get stone age ghosts ?
