I don't undertand - is this still a thing in the US? 150Mb/s was basic internet 20 years ago in Toronto, and today I have over access to 1600Mb/s without even having to pay for it (comes for free with my building). It's not even considered a fast connection here since 8Gbit (1000MB/s) connections are already.
Lucky you, my internet provider doesn't even promise internet.
So you just do 150Mb/s : 8 = 18.75MB/s
It wouldn’t make sense to measure it with bytes tbh
How are you able to say something so brave yet controversial?
Why not? It's not like the amount of bits matter, and what most people are familiar with. Are you gonna get half a byte of traffic anytime soon?
Because it’s a measurement of a bitstream. At the end of the day networking is just finding the most optimal way to deliver bitstreams to end hosts.
My internet provider actually promised me almost 150 MB/s. (It rarely deliver if ever)

In the US you’re lucky to get 60 mb/s, 150 is a luxury. I’ve never even seen 1600 mb/s in my life.
My condolences; that's rough. I supposed that's the cost to make Aerica great.
I get just over 500Mb.
Mine is 43 Mbps. It’s deplorable.
Gonna be on Peter Explains before the day is out
Well, I'm getting what I'm paying for.
Edit: No, I'm not in chicago. I'm in rhinelander.
