Robbery on Corso Buenos Aires in Milan, a 15-year-old Italian boy was held captive by a gang (a 20-year-old Tunisian man, a 15-year-old Italian girl, a 16-year-old Moroccan man, and a 17-year-old Syrian man) for 20 minutes: a phone call to his father saved him.
The gang consisted of a 20-year-old man and three minors, including a girl. They surrounded him and forced him to hand over his jacket, clothes, shoes, cell phone, and wallet. To top up his card, they made him call his father, who alerted the Carabinieri.
He said he was left at the mercy of a group of kids who robbed him of his clothes and then tried to get him to hand over the money, forcing him to withdraw money from an ATM. His father's phone call to the Carabinieri saved him, and they managed to arrest four of the alleged perpetrators: a 20-year-old man and three minors, including a girl. They have all been involved in similar incidents before.
The victim of the robbery was a 15-year-old Italian boy. The young man was near Corso Buenos Aires on the evening of Sunday, December 21st, when he was approached by a group of youths. The attackers surrounded him and demanded the release of his jacket. They then forced him to take off his jacket and hand over his sweater and shoes. The 15-year-old remained at the mercy of the attackers for approximately 20 minutes.
The attack reportedly took place between Corso Buenos Aires and Via San Gregorio. The youths then demanded the victim's wallet and cell phone. The boy had no money, only a prepaid card. Therefore, threatening him with a metal object (which he was unable to describe) and at times with a bottle from a wastebasket, the young robbers forced him to go to an ATM to withdraw money.
The card, however, was out of money, so they decided to have him call his parents to request a top-up. The victim's father immediately noticed something was wrong and called 112.
Carabinieri from the Mobile Radio Unit responded with several patrols and managed to arrest four of the alleged perpetrators and also recover all the stolen goods, which were returned. They are a 20-year-old Tunisian man who ended up in San Vittore, and three minors: a 15-year-old Italian girl, a 16-year-old Moroccan man, and a 17-year-old Syrian man, all three held at the Beccaria juvenile detention center.
They are residents of the Bergamo area and already known to law enforcement. According to investigators, the four were under the influence of narcotics and were therefore first taken to the emergency room of the Fatebenefratelli hospital.

15 year old boy and a 16 year old man
There is the 15 year old girl in the gang. Maybe 16 is just the boundary between girl/boyhood and man/womanhood in Italy? Or perhaps the girl would have been referred to differently if she were Tunisian, Moroccan, or Syrian instead of Italian.
