Just want to Share my new setup. Coming from a Delonghi Dedica and having fallen in love with La Marzocco and good coffee, there was a point of no return and just before Christmas, we pulled the trigger.
It took a couple of weeks to get our setup together and to get used to the new workflow, but now I’m proud to say, that I served “the best cappuccino, I’ve ever had” to my dad yesterday, after him and my mom have said for years, that their fully-automatic machine is just perfect and the don’t taste a difference to an Italian Café.
And it certainly helps, that she’s an absolute beauty!
I’m a big visual guy in a space and I love how beautiful La Marzocco looks in the middle, especially how it reflects the gray of the window. Geeking out aside, congrats on the new set up!

I am also envious of the corner space and clearance above it. Perfect for a nice big espresso machine (esp levers)
To me it's the Blu Caantrell color. Can't see objects like that and not think they match the Mercedes in the video for "Breathe". (and now you have Sean Paul's cadence stuck in your head)

It’s a eureka Libra 65 AP. really happy with it! I love the GBW feature and grounds are nice and fluffy 😊. And I think the design fits the LM aesthetic 😉

The Eureka’s are dogs. It’s a dated platform with questionable burr alignment, and a wonky adjustment system.

Went with Mahlkönig after half a decade and holy shit are my pulls night and day. Uniform grind particle size > WDT gymnastics. 🤸

The micra tends to look comically large to you? I thinks she’s quite petite; our kitchen might have been fine with the mini. But I preferred the price tag and heat up time of the micra ☺️

Where did you get the tinted hopper for your Libra? Need one, I cover the stock hopper with a cloth currently bc my station gets sun in the afternoon.
Looks great, I’ve been thinking about a mini or micra. How real are the issues with clearance and steam wand length?
