Also talked about Google, but it's literally everything - all social media has fallen apart, microsoft windows, Wordpress (see that post, it has code crap from a change to the website when someone used Elementor. Divi sucks. I could talk about just the enshitifcation of everything related to Web design - people that charge you for stuff that used to be free, hosting is more expensive, email is impossible to set up, all mailing lists suck (mailchimp got rid of their free tier). I was paying GoDaddy for a website - hundreds of dollars a year for backup and still Chicago Art Magazine was just wiped out one day. YouTube screwed all the content creators.
But the challenge for Marla.AI is a free software revolution to fix it. We can't just complain, we have to fix it.

No, it's not an ad. Dusoma Foundation is an open source project. We're not selling anything. I'm a former technology consultant and lately I'm helping NFP understand that they can "whip up" software at 10% of the price.
As for email - it's those fucking MX records. I posted on LinkedIn and got an apology from Blue Host, but it's total bullshit. It should be plug and play. You have your domain through blue host, the expensive professional emails should just work. C-panel should be on the enshittification list. I made my own list about Wordpress and hosting. I've been dealing with this bullshit for over 15 years - what he doesn't address. Things didn't get shitty overnight - it's also the problem that things don't get better. Yeah, I agree that setting up the DNS for email can be tricky and you have to know what you are doing, very dangerous to touch for anyone who doesn't. I am not surprised you had a bad time with Bluehost, they were one of many hosting companies bought up by EIG, now called Newfold Digital, and they enshittified everything they touched. Sorry I misunderstood your intention with this post, it's annoying that so many posts on Reddit are fake stories and/or subtle ads for new SaaS products.
