Quick question: is it common to experience vaping problems when using only 100% VG?

I've noticed that when vaping at high wattage (big clouds), it's much more enjoyable and the e-liquid lasts much longer.

What's your vaping style?

  • Yes, I experienced some problem when vaping almost 100%VG @ 250W+
The ejuice disappeared, like 50ml daily, went trough it like crazy. Also batteries needs charging all the time.
Coils and cotton lasts forever and a day, but man it burned trough the liquid,

Also, well, couldn't see the room while vaping inside, everyone could locate me from far away when vaping outside, lots of residue on windows both in the car and in the house etc.

But as far as health problems, not really. you gotta drink a lot more water than normal because the VG dehydrates you a bit, but that's all I experienced.

I cut down to 20-30W mtl/restricted dl last couple years, and now have quit entirely.

I'm experiencing exactly what you're describing! You're right about the hydration; I get thirsty very quickly. I don't use it outside for fear of bothering others and drawing too much attention to myself 🫤

That prob depends where you live there's not all that many houses or people outside my house, if there was i'd prob use a pod or not Max Vg 😄

  • My vaping style is to find the balance of the coil with the power as a whole. And choose a pair of coils with power for a specific liquid I like. And this is not always consistent with Ohm's law. PS 100% VG means that there is no nicotine or aroma in this liquid. Pure sweet glycerin and a bit of cotton flavor. This is not my thing.

PS 100% VG means that there is no nicotine or aroma in this liquid

It doesnt. You can get 100vg liquids that contain nicotine & flavour. vg nicotine & vg flavourings are a thing.
    ✌️❤️

Nope. It's going to be crap. Without PG, there is no taste.

Lol, of course there will be "taste". Just because its vg doesnt mean it wont carry flavour, people associate higher pg with better flavour simply because of how over-flavoured 50/50 nic salts/pod juices are, & from everyone keep saying "pg carries flavour" which doesnt automatically mean more pg = better flavour. I could make a mix at 80/20, & make the exact same recipe at 50/50 its not going to taste any different just because theres more pg in there, lol.

Haha, I use your method of wicking from a video on YouTube ‘rewick for crackle’ 👍🏻

    😅👍, glad it was helpful.
I could also help with making eliquid if you ever wanted to make your own ? I have plenty recipes that rival commercial eliquids.
    ✌️❤️

I was obsessed with a blend that harmoniously combined menthol with a mild flavor, such as cactus or dragon fruit. 🙈

It's clear that I'm just nitpicking on accuracy. Approximately 100% it will be for sure. But I still don't agree about the taste. Vapour conditions sometimes affect the perception of taste more than the taste accuracy itself. It's very subjective.

  • I target 90vg/10pg with 1mg nic for almost all mixes, and use single coil RDAs around 35 watts. Only problem is running out of shelf space for 600+ flavorings.

  • Pg allergy so vg is my only choice. Not a fan of throat hit anyways, always felt that was overrated/unnecessary.

    The smoother the better.

  • You need low resistance coil/coils for 90/10 80/20 , i go 60/40 for everything Mtl,Dtl but idk as High Vg lasts longer cuz your pushing more watts and prob about the same Rate as say 70/30 at 55-65w i would think

  • I have vaped 30ml/ml nicotine 100% vg based freebase unflavored for 15 years now. currently using a .8 ohm pod. I have never had a problem vaping vg - but I vape unflavored. One problem that people have with vg is that it doesn't carry flavors near as well as pg.
