So for me when I started getting I woke up and felt different to what I did before. I feel so better than before. But hrt isn't a end all be all solution. Yes for some it helps with depression, suicidal thoughts etc. For others it don't. Some get happier others don't. Your milage may wary. Just remember that you are a good person and that there is hope. Don't give up.
Some might say that money can’t buy happiness. But I feel happier when I can pay my bills. About to start HRT myself, can’t wait to see how it affects me ❤️
people who say money cant buy happiness are almost exclusively people who have only ever lived at a level of relative comfort their whole lives, like sure money cant magically make you happy but not being able to afford rent or food would sure as hell make you feel worse, and money can be used on things that WILL make you happier like therapy.
i think a much better statement would be "money cant guarantee happiness".
Yes. Earlier this year I started HRT, was on it for about a month. Then I got scared and stopped for a week. I felt like I was drowning in a sea of depression. So I restarted. Three days later I realized, I’m not sad anymore. That was my final confirmation that it’s right for me.
