Good in moderation from what the people in the pet store told me…
They do like a rabbit hide there with fur on it. I’ll get one for my pup every now and then and she loves it.
why are people so detached from where food comes from that they get weirded out even by dog food that looks remotely like the animal it came from?
I always thought furry treats and stuff like pig‘s ears and cows tails were normal dog treats.
Or Bull dicks. I thought my friend was kidding when she would say she had to get a bull dick for her wolf-dog. I thought it was an expression, but I looked at it once and damn, it was a bull's dick! So I know the wolf dog loved them. Just creepy. I ordered some food delivered from the supermarket and they didn't have chicken cat food so I got a can of rabbit!! I didn't look at the replacements, but I didn't feed it to my cat.......do they eat rabbits in the wild? Do cats eat rabbits? No wabbits for my kitty Lily Munster.
She is an indoor cat. My neighbor's cat was killed in my yard by a Bobcat. And I live in the suburbs, there is a lot of open land around here. Still the suburbs. One was also seen wandering around in the middle of the day near a park next to a downtown area. Who knew? Lots of building going on.
I would love it if your cat would come to my neighborhood and eat all the rabbits. I counted 11 in my neighbor's yard last night. The yard is not that big.
Rabbit is definitely something a cat can eat. They do eat them in the wild, but I also give it to my cats when ever I do have it around. They love it. It's just not something you would solely feed them unless it has added nutrients. Rabbit is super lean and has little protein, hence the term "rabbit starvation"
Now I know cats love rabbits. I don't know why I even commented. My cat, apparently healthy, smooth soft shiny coat, very active and loves cuddles. She loves water, likes drinking it from a light stream at the faucet and a glass of water I change frequently and she does drink it in the sink. Loves kibble and treats. But I have not found a wet food she will eat. I am going to try some tuna today, not cat food tuna. She likes the "churu's", most of the time. I can't force her to eat. I don't leave it out all day, wet food I mean or ants get it. I am going to have to see if she changes as she gets older, almost 9 months now. Still a baby, my baby 🍼.
It's actually great she likes to drink water, a lot of cats struggle with that. Historically, cats get most their water from their food.
Don't feed tuna too often, as it contains mercury and accumulates faster in cats (smaller bodies). It's fine as a treat and mixed in with dry food occasionally, but not a daily food.
Some cats are just picky and stuck in their ways. My sister's cat won't eat most wet foods, and doesn't even like "human" food like cooked chicken. She likes her dry food 🤷♀️
At least you know it's real and not some synthetic bs
That's the flossing variant.

Cats definitely eat rabbits. Yet another reason to keep your pets inside if you love them and the environment

So what, I give my dogs full rabbits ears
I buy those and have seen a bit of fur on them.I don’t think anything of it tbh
Tell me you grew up in a city without actually telling me
Hehe exactly, we would wash the culled pig's or cow's tail and part of the bum and give to Gramp's dog and would love it
I didn't, but thanks for your weird, smug sense of superiority for being a hick
Well I guess some hicks just can’t take a joke then
dog treat/cat toy
And?
Damn…….😂made me spit my peppermint out from laughing so hard.
Ew
? thats normal
