Had some afternoon drinks and was craving this exact meal. I had it from chilis a few weeks ago, but I like my version better. The patty melt has sharp cheddar and mozzarella with caramelized onions.
There's a hamburger patty in there. I was just listing the types of cheeses I used, plus the carmalized onions. A patty melt always has a burger in it.
What makes it a patty melt? I assumed like hot hamburger or something.
