Still not sure how you got this so wrong; I'm in North America and Google was still able to tell me that there are 549 active players in the English Premiership.
There is bad math and then there is conpletely being out of touch with what numbers are. I just googled it. 32 teams. 53 people per team. How can you possibly think 150 something is a reasonable number? With 50 people a team.....that is teams worth of people.
I stg literacy and any kind of critical thought has slipped so far.
True but so confidently saying he didn't play the position when he really played at a high level still is fitting for this sub - shows the guy who called him out doesn't know what he's talking about!!
Absolutely. You might not know the name, but implying immediately that someone who I would guess knows about the running game in football (doesnāt matter if he is good at it or not, he is a pro member of the elite 1% of athletes which go to the NFL) has never played the game tells a lot about how much you really know about the game.
How did you reach that number? There are 32 teams. Do you think each team has fewer than 5 players? Assuming they only have 11 defense and 11 offense players thatās 704 players, and that assumes both a single player in the bench and no dedicated special teams.
To be fair, his username has no mention of who he is
Edit: my mistake, I thought the fantasy nerd account was the one being replied to, I completely missed that they were replying to someone else
Replying to "georgefoster72" has no mention that he is George Foster?
Also, 72 was his player number
I completely misread it, I thought he was replying to the fantasy nerd account, not George fosters account
When I donāt put my profession and a fun fact in the username on my socials
āFantasyNerdBoiāā¦is that like heās a nerd about fantasy football, orā¦?
I just kind of love the idea of a former football player being a huge D&D nerd, and I really want it to be something like that.
His username is GeorgeFoster72, Fantasy guy is a 3rd party here
Aww, darn.
The original comment was replying to George Foster. Nerdboi is a separate person responding with Foster's credentials.
Wellll I read that wrong and now Iām VERY disappointed.
He was a first pick for the Broncos... That's still only marginally better that a peewee league player. /S
There are 156 players in nfl at a time him not knowing all drafted 22 years ago is understandable
Edit: i repeatedly explained i did bad math i repeatedly explained my bad math and have admitted im wrong stop replying asking me to explain
You're off by an order of magnitude. Each of the league's 32 teams has a 53-man roster; that's 1,696 active players in the NFL.
Thereās probably 156 first round picks still in the NFL.Ā
Yeah i suck at math but you made my point
Sidenote im in uk and googled teams and then player numbers
Still not sure how you got this so wrong; I'm in North America and Google was still able to tell me that there are 549 active players in the English Premiership.
Yeah iām also not english and donāt follow the premiersip (or scottish premiership)
But like....do you know google works?
Nah, they don't have Internet where he lives
Yes i have no internet but am on reddit also female
What does being female have to do with anything? š
Someone get that "oh you're a woman? My deepest apologies" copypasta
Lemonhops called me he
I googled amount of teams then amount of players per team then did bad math

I explained below i suck at mat to a factor of ten
I love how you get mass down voted. Yes you did bad math, but your point is still valid. Why can't people see that?
