Nah screw that youre helping more by not intervening. If you get that absorbed into your phone while youre supposed to be watching a child then they deserve to get that scare and panic of thinking the kids missing. Personally id keep an eye on the kid from afar to make sure they dont get hurt or taken but thats the most "help" id give
I 100% interpeted that as head down looking at a phone. Obviously the person there could move around to get a better view or even go on the other side of the fence. If its phone im doing what im said if theyre asleep id wake them up and not be a dick
I saw a lady shooting up in the park and zoning out. She was on the ground tho. Broad daylight. Her kids were running around like it was another normal day with Mom. I was just a kid myself, so my Mom had to explain to me what was happening.
Yep, I learned that speaking up right away just designated me as the "watcher" so now I monitor in silence and wait for the idiot parent to realize... Or if I need to physically intervene, I'll exclaim it super loud so everyone knows the parent wasn't parenting. 😤
Still not a good parent.. if you feel tired/like youre about to fall asleep while outside, in a public area and with a toddler at that, you go home and make sure the toddler is safe before you let yourself fall asleep.
"So she's on her phone, while the kid, open house, just left - on his own. I can't believe it. I'll go ask her if she's the mom or a nanny. He took off and she's on her phone texting, browsing Instagram or whatever.
“Au revoir bébé”
The one line I understood took me out!
except au revoir sounded more like ovvwa
Non
If you can’t see the kid you’re not watching them.
If you are thirsty you're not hydrated.
If you're tired you're not sleeping correctly.
If you’re bored, you’re not doing it right.
Electrolyte's? It's what they crave!

Not to mention: watching it walk away is super funny
Didn't look like she was moving. She may have dozed off.

Agreed. Sucks for both situations, just in different ways.
Hmm, yeah you're right. Definitely looks asleep on rewatch.

Am parent, can confirm that this technique works VERY well!
Ah yes, utilizing teleportation when a child is about to get run over by another asshole staring at their phone
lol there’s an episode of blackish where Diane takes a lady’s baby and the lady wasn’t paying attention
The baby:
Yo, dingbat! Aren’t you supposed to be keeping an eye on something other than your social media?
She might also just be passed out in a sitting position.
With a toddler that ready to go exploring it's not out of the question.
Oh I get that perspective as a dad that worked nightshift with a toddler! Still didn’t fall asleep on my watch until she did!

If you’re that tired dont go outside to begin with? Play with your toddler inside or if you have, your garden.

If you’re always so tired you’re on the brink of falling asleep thats not normal. Even with kids.

So you’re just gonna repeat what you already said now? Well then good day..

Baby’s Day Out
It's bold to assume that's the mom...
It appears that no one else is at that park. I think it's a pretty good assumption.
I meant more that it was a nanny or older sister. There are also a couple of bikes for more kids and someone filming...
There is a lot more going on then we see from this clip.
Above all this other stuff, just don't film other people's kids in a park.
She was tracking it on her app, relax.
Lol couldn't be me. I would start screaming all kinds of shit to the mom.
Translated from french:
"So she's on her phone, while the kid, open house, just left - on his own. I can't believe it. I'll go ask her if she's the mom or a nanny. He took off and she's on her phone texting, browsing Instagram or whatever.
Bye bye baby! I'll just pick him up."
The kid just casually going into an adventure lmao
Haha if you truly love them, let them go
This is so infuriating. Both people are fucking wrong.
Why are you filming children in a playground?
Parents are fuckin tired. Help em out when u can asshole
