I literally just try to migrate to proton Just yesterday, I haven't used it long enough but it seems fine to me, should I stay on proton or or go over another service?
If it meets your needs and you are good with the price, then stick with it. Personally, I moved away from Proton just because I think it's too expensive for what it offers in it's current iteration. Proton has a few good core services and a lot of unpolished ones. The lack of features in some of their services can be a deal breaker depending on how you use those services.
I'm currently on Zoho. Not a privacy focused service at all, but I've had my account since pre-release and I'm still grandfathers into pro features for free. I don't use my email in any way that needs to be super secure. If someone wants to subpoena my receipts and bill notifications they can have at it.
A friend of mine recently opted for Mailbox.org and so far it seems like a good middle ground between privacy/security and better usability. But again, it really depends on what features you want. I haven't dug into deeply at this points so I'm not sure how good their apps are. They seem to be limited in this regard compared to other services.
I guess that's fair. I probably wouldn't overthink it too much. Their all in one suite has pretty much everything you need, and their CEO seems on the ball & dedicated to privacy. He just gave an interview about moving out of Switzerland because of new laws coming in place, so he's moving their servers all over Europe.
But yeah, eventually they'll become too big for their own good and we'll have to find something else lol
Proton has good services and is perfectly fine. Try to avoid to depend on them too much though: its always good practice if you care about privacy to diversify providers for different services and not relying on a "ecosystem" (to me its the major point of "degoogle" as well).

Do you have a particular reason you are concerned about it?
Proton is fine. I love the experience.
It's better to diversify the services unless you want them to become the next google, amazon or apple.
Just keep their email, VPN or 2FA. Then use another services for the next thing and so on.

Proton is excellent! I've gone "all-in" for a while now, and they offer great services and have a robust platform.
