bemoaning my inability to get summoned and wondering if the event was just low activity. After many replies insisting the game was active, I wondered if I was just doing something wrong. I decided to try playing with my friend, and though I could summom him, even HE couldn't see my sign, even with a password. This is how I knew something was wrong.
Then I found out: apparently there is some stupid bug with Steam and DSR where, if your Steam Profile Name is longer than 15 characters, you can't get summoned!!! I trimmed my Steam profile name down to 6 characters and my friend could instantly see my sign, and I assume others will be able to too, now. What a stupid issue! I hope it helps other people enjoy LtR who face the same problem.

Wait that's still an issue with DSR? I knew it was with PtDE, that's wild.
edit: In PtDE, those signs would come through but they would crash your game the second you tried interacting with them. Now they just stop them from displaying in your game in the first place it seems.
Summoned for a Long Term Relationship? Nah. Count me out.

First time hearing of this bug. Would explain a lot of quirks with this RtL event I'm experiencing. Though someone did try to summon me but it said "matchmaking failed". Had an extended period where I couldn't summon others even if I rotated between summon signs, then suddenly I was able to summon a full party of phantoms again. Though apparently there was a server outage yesterday across all fromsoft online platforms causing summoning issues.
