I mean you could have gotten him an acoustic drum set….I know instruments are loud, but I try to remember that any time they are playing on them, they are learning and developing a skill. I know it’s loud, I know it’s annoying, but for me it’s worth it. As a drummer, I love hearing my kids bang on the drumset. Just use hearing protection.

When she asks to play dolls with you, DO IT! I know your back will hurt, there are a thousand other things to do, You don't want to, seriously?!?!, etc etc
But when I realized she stopped asking, it was one of the saddest days of my life, and I've buried my parents.
Its a funny thing, you would think they kinda stink but no, it smells...nice. when they get older and have more hair you'll find yourself smelling it lol

Yes in fact sometimes the most challenging times in life are exactly what you look back fondly on. Like yeah, I went through that shit and look what I achieved. It could be job related, or wonderful kids who are such a joy every day. They are 4.5 and 1.5 now, royal pains in the arse but I cannot imagine a second without them.
We bought a GoPro and it’s been awesome!
I missed my first birth due to the army, so I swear to always capture as much moments as I could!

Plan is to work up to that. If he decides he wants to actually pursue it then we’ll upgrade as we go. For now this thing is perfect for him.
