    I don't blame you. I'm not a ludite and I do buy things online. But... in my bike shop, we do match prices of the bikes we carry and we'll do whatever we can to match other prices. All we ask is that people give us a shot so we can stay in business so we can be there at a resonable price when they need our skills.

    Buy from us at the same price, no special favors asked, no first born requested.

    Keep us in business so we can support the community.

    And... BTW... like many LBS's, we do a ton of community support: fund raisers, trail work, local teams, NICA, bike to school days, small shop rides, big group rides and events....

    And all you need to do to keep us alive is say, "hey, how much for a new derailleur?".

    Seriously... your support is appreciated. It's needed.

    Maybe it was my tone. I was trying to say if you have a local shop that is able and willing to give you personal service and are flexible about returns in this difficult modern world, I hope you'll support them. If you're LBS sucks or over charges, don't go there.

    Uh, the tiny space in which to fit torque sensors, batteries, and multiple radios, in a design that can handle being knocked against rocks and sprayed with water if not outright submerged repeatedly for a decade? Oh, and you really need to have two of those…
